  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"My family recently returned from a 2 week stay at this lovely home. We were two adults and three children, ages 8, 10 & 14. The setting is very peaceful and quiet, the quality of the house's construction is first-rate, and the rooms are large and well laid out. The outdoor area is amazing. The pool is large and crystal clear, and one is surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature. If swimming and relaxing is a priority on your vacation, then this house is definitely the place for you. Aix-en-Provence is only 15 minutes by car. The experienced is further enhanced by the property manager, Isabelle, who is very friendly, knowlegable, and always available. We highly recommend this house!"

  • Everything You'll Need And More

"We arrived at Villa Valentine after a long day of travel, only to be greeted by our kind hosts Corrine , son Damien and his girlfriend. The home was exactly how it is portrayed on the website and even more. There was seven of us travelling and the accomodations were perfectly set up for us to each have our own room( 2 couples and 2 singles). Each room was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. The home was equipped with everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. Don't be swayed by the location, once you get your bearings Villa Valentine is easy to locate. The location is close to the wonderful town of Aix En Provence where you may pick up any provisions you need and not far are many picturesque villages such as Gordes, Roussillon, La Cost, Fontaine de Valclouis, Eze, Grazze, and more. Our hosts were extremely flexible in the arrangements of our welcome dinner. We decided to do it the second night because our travel day was so long. Chef prepared an exquisite meal for us in the tradition of a french meal. Fabulous! The same day we arranged to have the chef prepare breakfast for us as we had not yet been shopping. I strongly recommend this as the breakfast was amble and absolutely scrumptious. On our last evening Chef Damien gave us a cooking lesson and taught us the fine details of preparing a french meal. All of us enjoyed the lesson, his sense of humour and passion for cooking . This was an extra charge but a wonderful way to end a delightful stay at Villa Valentine. Corrine and Damien came to say goodbye and all of us felt it was only for awhile as I am sure we will return again. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an exceptional vacation property and helpful, friendly owners available at any time."

  • Nice Stay in Aix

"This apartment is very nice. It was roomy, and comfortable. The terrace was great. Rooms on the front are a bit noisy as the revelers start at 2 am and the newpaper delivery drivers thump their papers on Rue de l'Opera at 3 am. Closing the windows deadens some of the noise. The location is wonderful with only 2 blocks between you and the profiteroles for breakfast. The old town of Aix is so fun, and the street markets are worth experiencing. The only drawback is the four stories to the front door. For those with any mobility problems, this would not be the place for you."

Aix en Provence Area Travel Tips

Artful and Fantastic Aix-en-Provence Rentals

The region of Provence, France is famous not only for its fabulous foods and quintessential “French” atmosphere; it is also the location of Aix-en-Provence, a small city toward the south. The city was home to artist Cezanne, and it is where you will find the TGV (high speed train) which brings many visitors to their Aix-en-Provence rentals. Provence travel would not be the same without a stay in Aix.

Luxury Is Mandatory at Your Aix-en-Provence Accommodation

Because the city has always been a rich and opulent one, any Aix-en-Provence accommodation you select is bound to be luxurious and beautiful. Be prepared to spend a bit of money on Aix-en-Provence rentals. However, the price is well worth it as the city is both quiet and clean with the charm of a small French town that allows for plenty of nice, long walks. In fact, the city center consists of mostly very old buildings along narrow streets.

Provence Travel Means Exploring Everywhere

You will want to leave your Aix-en-Provence accommodation to explore the city on foot. As you go up and down the narrow, winding streets, you will catch a glimpse of the wonderful fountains for which Aix-en-Provence is famous. Be sure not to miss the Cours Mirabeau on the main avenue. Other fountains draw their water from hot springs nearby. Additionally, during your Provence travel, you will want to take note of the impressive architecture throughout Aix which boasts intricate and detailed doors, bell towers, and wrought iron.

You Will Eat Well When Staying in Aix-en-Provence Rentals

Provence Travel does not mean that you will just be walking around Aix-en-Provence and eating French food which probably is not such a bad idea! Any Aix-en-Provence accommodation is situated quite close to the many billiards, pubs, restaurants, and cafes in and around town. If you would like to leave the city for a bit, catch the bus to St. Victoire to climb a mountain, have a picnic, and view the old monastery. Though you can stay at the monastery at night, you may want to return to your luxurious Aix-en-Provence rentals anyway!
