  • Wonderful fall week in St Remy

"Although we had visited St. Remy briefly several years ago, we wanted to have an extended stay of 15 days in order to get to know the area better. This was the perfect house for us. We totally enjoyed the rooftop terrace, and the layout of rooms enabled us to have time apart when needed. The furnishings are gracious and comfortable; parking was no problem if one didn't mind a short (5-minute) walk to the public parking area; and St. Remy itself is an easily accessible town within comfortable reach of many sites in Provence. Our hosts' caretaker, Chantal, was extremely welcoming and helpful. We'd recommend this property highly."

  • Glamorous Apartment in a BEAUTIFUL Town!

"Oh lala! Greta is wonderful! We spend a lovely 10 days with our 3 daughter in the property.(Early May 2012) Love to sit on the dinning table and watch tourist past by. As a tourist you must be open minded when traveling to Europe and wanting to experience a true countryside feeling. The space was well used and lovely decorated. Yes bathroom is very small, and some humedity near the cave, but just open the door and windows and turn on the humidifier, problem solved! Right in the middle of the town, walking distance to the barkery for fresh bread, crossaints and pan du chocolat, as well as groceries and quite nice restaurants. Towns nearby to die for: Rousselion, Lacoste, Gordes, Aix, Bonnieux, l'isle sur la Morge, and many others. Vineyards nearby, many many things to do and see. Beautiful markets in spring-summertime. Hopefully will return!"

  • Beautiful villa in an excellent location!

"We recently returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful home. We spent the week with our adult children and their spouses and everyone agreed that we could not have made a better choice. The home is well-equipped and at the end of a quiet street. We enjoyed the ease with which we were able to take day trips to the lovely towns in Provence and return in the afternoon to enjoy the perfect weather and beautiful pool and grounds. The landscaping around Monique's special oasis was park like. She was extremely accommodating and kind. There were fresh fruits and vegetables available upon our arrival. The fresh eggs from the resident hen were delicious. The home is close to restaurants and grocery stores. The charcuterie in Les Angles hand cut steaks for us one night for dinner. The most memorable part of our trip was the owner. She did everything she could to make sure that we had a wonderful trip.....and we certainly did. It was a week that we will never forget. Thank you, Monique."

  • Warm welcome in beautful Provence

"Holydays House is a charming, clean, well-maintained property with everything you could need for your stay and as advertised. The owners, together with their daughter were delightful, friendly hosts and made us feel more than welcome. The use of the swimming pool as well as the barbecue area was most welcome as were the little 'extras' of local olive oil, wine, fruit and vegetables as well as a bunch of lavendar from the garden for both me and my daughter in law at the end of our stay. The property is situated in a very beautiful part of the country and just a short distance from St Remy de Provence, with it's wonderful side streets and magnificent restaurants, notably La Cigale and L'Industrie in St Remy. Holydays is a great base from which to visit the area - we would especially recommend Gréoux les Bains in the National Park, Van Gogh's bridge at Arles and of course Avignon. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone whether for just a relaxing break or a sight seeing base."
