  • Loved every minute!

"It's difficult to capture the beauty of this home in pictures. Due to the setup of the property, there are so many different vistas - each unique for it's own type of enjoyment. Every meal was spent outside on the patio listening to nothing but the birds and the crickets. Around the corner from the patio is a yard overlooking a vineyard which was perfect for boules (one of the games supplied). Further down the path, you find yourself looking past the pool down a corridor lined with lavender and olive trees. What a delight it was to swim in the beautifully maintained pool and watch my boys run around the surrounding yard. Our boys are 11 and 18 and we all had a fabulous time. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and there is a major grocery store that is close. The way the property is set, we felt all alone. The fact that such a major grocery would be so close is shocking. The manager of the property was a perfect combination of helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Upon leaving, she asked us how our stay could have been more enjoyable. Apparently the owners are very interested in that information. I believe it. Truth is I did say I would have liked a few more comfortable chairs.....who knows, though, perhaps they are really comfortable to you. One more thing that I didn't mention to Suzi was the creak as you stepped in the upstairs bedroom. Here's the thing. It's a 17th century farmhouse! That's part of the charm!"

• Great relaxed holidays in a very nice location

"We (a couple, 30 years old) stayed for one week to spend some relaxed holidays! The location was great- the house and the estate were very large and dapper. The hosts are very nice and helpful person The Location was perfect for us to spend some relaxed time together, mostly at the domicil, but the area around is also perfect for some trips in different ways e.g. sightseeing, of cities and landscape,..) Probable the residence would be great for holidays with friends and children also - everything is large enough! Furthermore everything one needs is exisiting, e.g. kitchen stuff, sun lounger, wifi,... Thanks for a very enjoyable stay!"

  • Excellent choice for day trips in Provence

""My friend and I found this apt. perfect for our needs. We used it as a base for daily excursions to many cities, villages and sights in Provence. The convenience of parking our rental car right outside the apt. was a real plus. Space was ample, with a bedroom for each of us, a kitchen large enough to accommodate us both when we ate in, and a roomy dining/living area in which to eat and hang out. We loved Cavaillon and having a fresh produce market right across the street. And we got to practice our French frequently, as the town didn't seem to have many tourists. Kudos to Pat for her suggestion to take the scenic route to Aix-on-Provence -- and for having a French Monopoly set (great for rainy days)." We were there in April and the weather was perfect, except for one rainy day. People who go to Provence in the summer often look for a rental with a yard, a view and a swimming pool, which this apartment does not have. But it is spacious, convenient and pedestrian-friendly."
