"We (husband, wife and 9 month old baby) stayed at the Olive for four weeks. The last two weeks we were joined by another couple and their baby. We booked the Olive because of all of the recommendations, and we are very happy we did. The house is just five minutes from Apt, but it was very quiet and peaceful. A lot of beautiful villages are just a short drive away, and you can easily walk to Saignon.
The property is beautiful, and the pool area very relaxing. The house had everything we could ask for, even a microwave and a washing machine. The house had a large roofed patio with a dining table and sun chairs, great for both babies and adults.
Marie-Christine and Roland were very helpful, and they provided all the baby equipment we needed (thanks again!).
We would love to come back one day."

"We arrived to this lovely home after driving in torrential rain for 7 hours and it was like coming home. Genevieve met us at an easy to reach place and guided us to the house. Due to our later arrival, she arranged dinner at an amazing restaurant nearby. The house was VERY well equipped with lots of personal touches since the owners live there during off season. Beds were very comfortable and LOTS of towels and wash cloths which many places do not have. House was clean and well maintained as was the pool and grounds. It was so easy to get to nearby towns so this was an excellent location for the region. And Genevieve had lots of wine information for us as well as a small table full of brochures and maps. We'd highly recommend this house and would stay there again if in the region."

"Our time at lovely Rose Cottage in charming, dream-like Saignon was perfection! The cottage was the ideal spot to base ourselves for five days in Provence. As we walked into the village and found our way to the cottage, we were pinching ourselves - the village is amazing and is quintessential Provence with its old stone houses, blue shutters and gorgeous flowers. The view from the ruins at the top of the village was a treat as was wandering through nooks and crannies. We made friends with the five cats who visited near the front door and the bubbling fountain added to the tranquility. Our favorite day trip was to the ruins of Fort Buoux. Peter was helpful in advance and Joanna and Paul were great hosts upon arrival. I wouldn't change a thing and hope I can make it back someday!"

"We had a magical week at this truly special house, and could easily have stayed a month. It was a great launching pad for all of our adventures, as well as a place where we could happily spend a lazy day by the pool. The house was just the right size for our family of five -- including two teens and a tween -- with lovely bedrooms and baths, an open central living area and quiet spots for everyone to retreat to for reading or a nap. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we spent mornings gathered around the large island with our coffee, and pain au chocolat from the local bakery, planning the day's outings. The indoor dining table could easily accommodate us, but our favorite spot for dinner was the stunning covered outdoor dining area. In fact, it was often difficult to choose between beautiful outdoor spots: the pool; the small "breakfast patio;" the covered lounge overlooking the backyard -- all with beautiful views (and on the last day we noticed a bench swing tucked in amongst the olive trees!)
The house is down a country lane, a few minutes away from the closest town, and a short drive to many charming small towns and markets. It was also easy to venture further, to Avignon, Cassis, Le Pont du Gard, Nimes, St. Remy de Provence, Les Baux. The owners have compiled a binder full of suggestions for activities and restaurants, many of which we tried and enjoyed.
The owners made this a seamless rental experience -- from first contact all the way through to the day we left. They have clearly put a lot of care and attention to detail into making the home a welcoming retreat for everyone who stays there. The only thing missing was an extra week or two to spend there! We would love to return one day for a longer stay."
