"We stayed at La Maison des Arches in mid-August for a week long Girls Getaway and it was perfect. The house is gorgeous. We found the village of Ansouis to be very charming with just the right amount of conveniences . Our days were spent exploring Provence, having delicious lunches and visiting the local markets. At the end of the day we relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We sat on the patio and ate our evening meal of local cheeses, meats, olives, bread, pastries from the boulangerie and local wine - heaven! The kitchen is well stocked, the house is beautifully furnished and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed meeting Christina, who is the caretaker. The owner, Denise was very helpful and made us feel right at home. It was truly a wonderful vacation."

"Location, location and location you are in the centre of APT. Beautifully decorated apartment with living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It had a large private patio that we enjoyed for happy hours and dinners. The second bedroom suite was off the patio unattached from the main apartment. The separate living spaces are great for two couples. It is unfortunate that the two rainy days lead to significant water leakage in the bedroom and bathroom of the second detached suite which required our immediate attention. We were informed that Natallie and her husband have been working on resolving this issue. Prior to booking we suggest you inquire about this. Overall we highly recommend booking this apartment."

"We have stayed in La Ferriere for the last two years and have already booked our next years visit.
The house is peacefully situated in its own extensive grounds. The low key entrance drive leads you up to one of the most stunning houses in Provence. Ideally situated for exploring the area whether by car (which is essential), on a bike, or just walking straight out into the wonderful National Park with its miles of tracks through the forest.
The views from the house are stunning with the beautifully designed infinity pool looking like a natural pond when seen from the terrace. The pool is unheated but warms up very quickly in hot weather. There is a "barrier" protection to make it safe if there are small children in the house.
Inside the house is tastefully decorated extremely comfortable and well equipped. Last year we had a 6 month old baby with us and the staff provided us with anything we asked for. It doesn't have air conditioning but fans are provided in all the rooms and even in hot weather the thick walls and well maintained shutters keep the house pleasantly cool. The spotlessly clean and spacious rooms allow 16 people to reside in great comfort. Most of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Whether eating indoors in the dining room or outside, there is ample room for a large party. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Sonia, who is a wonderful cook has become a good friend of our cook who comes with us from Ireland. Together they provided us with the most superb cuisine and Sonia knew exactly where to source everything from fresh Fois Gras to the best Olive Oil.
We were a group of friends from Ireland, Northern Ireland, France, Scotland and England and everyone who stayed with us agreed that it would be hard to find a more perfecct house to stay in. The house is situated less than ten minutes from Gordes and 20 minutes from Coustellait which has a very good larger supermarket, fishmonger, bank etc. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area, whether "antique-ing" in the huge Sunday market in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, lunching above the source of the river in Fontaine- de -Vacleuse, buying artist's materials in Roussillon, or walking down to a service in L'Abbey de Senanque, that we would love to be able to stay longer and are already counting the months until our return in 2016."

"We had a magical week at this truly special house, and could easily have stayed a month. It was a great launching pad for all of our adventures, as well as a place where we could happily spend a lazy day by the pool. The house was just the right size for our family of five -- including two teens and a tween -- with lovely bedrooms and baths, an open central living area and quiet spots for everyone to retreat to for reading or a nap. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we spent mornings gathered around the large island with our coffee, and pain au chocolat from the local bakery, planning the day's outings. The indoor dining table could easily accommodate us, but our favorite spot for dinner was the stunning covered outdoor dining area. In fact, it was often difficult to choose between beautiful outdoor spots: the pool; the small "breakfast patio;" the covered lounge overlooking the backyard -- all with beautiful views (and on the last day we noticed a bench swing tucked in amongst the olive trees!)
The house is down a country lane, a few minutes away from the closest town, and a short drive to many charming small towns and markets. It was also easy to venture further, to Avignon, Cassis, Le Pont du Gard, Nimes, St. Remy de Provence, Les Baux. The owners have compiled a binder full of suggestions for activities and restaurants, many of which we tried and enjoyed.
The owners made this a seamless rental experience -- from first contact all the way through to the day we left. They have clearly put a lot of care and attention to detail into making the home a welcoming retreat for everyone who stays there. The only thing missing was an extra week or two to spend there! We would love to return one day for a longer stay."
