"This lovely apartment was exactly as portrayed in the HomeAway ad. The apartment was fully equipped, and all the high quality furniture and appliances were in perfect working order. Everything was also clean and fresh and fully stocked when we arrived. As an added bonus, the paintings and sculptures in the apartment are all original art work made by the landlords and fit in wonderfully with the overall decor. There is also a very rustic private courtyard right outside the door that is soaked with sunshine most days.
The location is perfect for seeing all there is to see in the Vaucluse. Robion is a lovely, small and "non-touristic" village with wonderful character. As the village butts up against the Luberon Mountain, there are many hiking opportunities right outside the front door. Many of the most beautiful perched villages and important historical sites in Provence are within a 30 minute drive. There are bakeries, restaurants, and a grocery store within a few minutes drive.
Our hosts were extremely welcoming and available to us throughout our stay as they live in the same building that houses the apartment. It is obvious that they take pride in offering their guests a quality vacation experience. I highly recommend this property to those looking for a low key and relaxing "home away from home" while vacationing in Provence!"

"We have stayed in La Ferriere for the last two years and have already booked our next years visit.
The house is peacefully situated in its own extensive grounds. The low key entrance drive leads you up to one of the most stunning houses in Provence. Ideally situated for exploring the area whether by car (which is essential), on a bike, or just walking straight out into the wonderful National Park with its miles of tracks through the forest.
The views from the house are stunning with the beautifully designed infinity pool looking like a natural pond when seen from the terrace. The pool is unheated but warms up very quickly in hot weather. There is a "barrier" protection to make it safe if there are small children in the house.
Inside the house is tastefully decorated extremely comfortable and well equipped. Last year we had a 6 month old baby with us and the staff provided us with anything we asked for. It doesn't have air conditioning but fans are provided in all the rooms and even in hot weather the thick walls and well maintained shutters keep the house pleasantly cool. The spotlessly clean and spacious rooms allow 16 people to reside in great comfort. Most of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Whether eating indoors in the dining room or outside, there is ample room for a large party. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Sonia, who is a wonderful cook has become a good friend of our cook who comes with us from Ireland. Together they provided us with the most superb cuisine and Sonia knew exactly where to source everything from fresh Fois Gras to the best Olive Oil.
We were a group of friends from Ireland, Northern Ireland, France, Scotland and England and everyone who stayed with us agreed that it would be hard to find a more perfecct house to stay in. The house is situated less than ten minutes from Gordes and 20 minutes from Coustellait which has a very good larger supermarket, fishmonger, bank etc. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area, whether "antique-ing" in the huge Sunday market in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, lunching above the source of the river in Fontaine- de -Vacleuse, buying artist's materials in Roussillon, or walking down to a service in L'Abbey de Senanque, that we would love to be able to stay longer and are already counting the months until our return in 2016."

"Mas de la Vallette was the perfect house for our family of 12 to gather! We had a magical month, in the heart of Provence, but away from the hustle and bustle of the busy towns. We could stroll down into Joucas for pastries every morning, then drive to one of the many towns and villages and wineries, all within a short drive. We would have lunch, then return home for naps, swims, and dinner. It was a great schedule for a group ranging in age from 11 to 80. Five of the nights a chef came in to prepare delicious dinners. Otherwise we shopped at the Super U or brought things from the markets. The outside gas grill was much in use. Our house manager, Beverly Ferritz, was lovely and helpful in any number of ways. She was always available and responsive to our needs. We considered her our Guardian Angel. It was truly a once in a lifetime holiday for all of our family."

"If you want unique, this is it. If you want extremely welcoming, helpful, and gracious hosts, Eric and Jean are the epitome. If you want memorable, La Tour des Beaumes will certainly be that. The tower has been creatively adapted and is somewhat quirky, in a good way, adding to the pleasure of a stay here. The private pool and gardens, which perfectly compliment the tower, are a pleasure in themselves. The location is an easy walk to Gordes, and day trips out to the surrounding countryside and villages are made easily. The tower and private garden is a separate part of the overall property, on which the hosts reside, and is secured with perimeter walls and entrance gate, affording a comfortable level of security. We took Eric's advice and went to the nearby Abbey of Senanque to attend a 6 pm Vespers service, sung by the monks, in the beautifully austere chapel, and had the feeling of being transported back to the 12 th century. All in all, La Tour des Beaumes, Gordes, and Eric and Jean are about as good as it gets. Book it for sure."
