  • Romantic cottage!

"My husband and I are home from our 3 week trip to France including one week in this charming, romantic, well-appointed (the bed is very comfy!), well-equipped tiny cottage with a Provençal little garden outside the front door. Kristine, who speaks prefect English, is a terrific host and provides books and suggestions about the region. This authentic cottage is right in the village of Lourmarin-my favorite of all the towns we explored. Don't miss Isle-sur-la-Sorge on Sunday for Market Day, the Roman Arena and History Museum in Arles and the perched villages of Gordes, Bonnieux, Menerbes and Roussillon--all within an hours drive. We would highly recommend staying in this charming cottage in this enchanting village!"

  • Le Petite Maison

"My wife and I stayed for a week at this great little apartment. We were met by Elizabeth (and Joseph, later) and they helped us with parking and baggage shuffling. The location of the apartment is perfect, and right near the center of Lourmarin. The apartment is fully furnished with all that is necessary, and not with hand-me-downs or mismatches. We had everything we needed for the week. Instructions and informational literature, and a book written by Elizabeth about the area was helpful and informative. Strongly recommend that anyone visiting this area consider this place. The village is wonderful, and central to many other scenic spots."

  • Loved every minute!

"It's difficult to capture the beauty of this home in pictures. Due to the setup of the property, there are so many different vistas - each unique for it's own type of enjoyment. Every meal was spent outside on the patio listening to nothing but the birds and the crickets. Around the corner from the patio is a yard overlooking a vineyard which was perfect for boules (one of the games supplied). Further down the path, you find yourself looking past the pool down a corridor lined with lavender and olive trees. What a delight it was to swim in the beautifully maintained pool and watch my boys run around the surrounding yard. Our boys are 11 and 18 and we all had a fabulous time. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and there is a major grocery store that is close. The way the property is set, we felt all alone. The fact that such a major grocery would be so close is shocking. The manager of the property was a perfect combination of helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Upon leaving, she asked us how our stay could have been more enjoyable. Apparently the owners are very interested in that information. I believe it. Truth is I did say I would have liked a few more comfortable chairs.....who knows, though, perhaps they are really comfortable to you. One more thing that I didn't mention to Suzi was the creak as you stepped in the upstairs bedroom. Here's the thing. It's a 17th century farmhouse! That's part of the charm!"

  • A lovely home in the Luberon

"We stayed here with a couple of friends for ten wonderful days. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We walked into Lourmarin for our baquette only once. It was for us a 40 minute walk both ways, but every morning the fresh bread and croissants were wonderful. We hiked a lot of the very well marked trails and explored many of the towns and villages, all of which have markets on diffeent days. We fell in love with Provence when we lived there for a year and come back as often as we can. We would love to come back to La Jassine sometime, maybe when the Lavender is blooming, every day more blossoms were appearing on the trees and the countryside is absolutely beautiful. We had a mistral for a couple of days but lit a fire inthe fireplace and were quie cosy. Paul and Sandra have a piece of heaven here, lucky them. We hope we will return someday, and in the meantime cant recommend this place highly enough."
