  • A special home overlooking the countryside of Ansouis

"We were not disappointed. The home provides a wonderful terrace. Given that we had good weather, most of our late afternoons and evenings were spent there to watch the sun go down, listen to the birds, and just reflect. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking. The other living areas are wonderful. Accomodating and well appointed. We used the main dining/ living area as our breakfast spot and drop-off area for our maps, shoes, etc. and spent many an evening upstairs in the library for perfect peace and quiet. The bedroom we used was comfortable. It was wonderful to wake up to the rooster down the road! Bathrooms were nicely appointed and large in terms of European standards. Appreciated the bath off the pool as it was handy prior to departure to surrounding villages each day. The village has little in it but it was enough for us. An excellent Tabac with the daily International Tribune; a patisserie that has wonderful pastries; a lovely church, a Vival grocery that has staples so one needn't go further; and an excellent restaurant. "La Closerie", where we had two memorable meals overlooking the Luberon landscape. Parking is of course not at your door. We chose to park in a public lot that had easy stairs coming up to the village. We did huff and puff a bit, but soon were used to the necessary "going up" to the village. If you enjoy quiet and a place to unwind, this is a little bit of heaven. For those who must stay connected, there is Wi-Fi. The owners were very clear about all information one needed to know and were most helpful with other questions prior to our departure. A gem!"

"La maison est vraiment superbe! Nous nous sommes régalés! Grandes pièces à vivre, chambres avec salle de bains confortables, piscine agréable, cuisine fonctionnelle, terrain arboré.... C'est vraiment top! Idéal pour de belles réunions de familles avec adultes et enfants! La gouvernante est très gentille et surtout très professionnelle! Que du bonheur! Merci encore!!!! À très bientôt! Delphine and co"

  • A green oases in the valley of Luberon

"The villa was still better than the pictures showed ... the garden was very beautiful and the hous was even bigger. We easely stayed six adults - and a baby. Everything was very nice. The kitchen had al things that were needed for cooking for a large family. No need for air-con: the fans in every room worked perfect. The hosts were very friendly and helpfull. The villa is perfect for visitting the Luberon Vallley. Short distance to many romantic villages, as well visiting Avignon and Aix-En-Provence. Our favorites are theater-festival in Avignon, the castle and Cafe de France in Lacoste, Rousillion and the Venice of Provence: Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We can recommend this house in our favorite part of France."

  • Amazing House, Perfect for What We Desired

"One ideal way to stay in a Provence hilltop town is to have a perfectly clean and charming house that is very centrally located, with every type of provision (supermarket, shops, etc) and sets of restaurants and cafes a two minute walk away or less, parking readily available 24 hours a day and less than five minutes away, while also having a feeling of quiet and privacy, with views of the Luberon from a top deck (that gets shade in August in many parts of the day because it has walls on the side) and a pool to relax in as desired. This house has all of these features. It also has genuinely nice owners who follow up on all details to ensure the stay goes well (wireless internet, exact parking details, etc). We were a small group who could only rent for a week but would have loved to enjoy a longer stay. I very strongly recommend the house."
