  • I never knew that Paradise could be so simple. I'd give it 10 stars.

"Provence is magnificent, the Luberon district (a national park) more so, and the tiny medieval village of Ansouis, built on a hill even more delightful. I stayed over Christmas and the New Year and then couldn't help staying on for a week or two more in this warm-hearted home in a charming stone house with a view and an atmosphere you'll never forget. For anyone who like things around them to work, everything does. This house is comfortable and perfectly equipped, but I found the tranquility even more refreshing than all the comforts that this home provides. The villages around, each with excellent restaurants were a joy to visit too. Ansouis has an exceptional restaurant, and of course a village boulangerie for a daily baguette. Provencal life has a charm that's unique in our world and I can't wait to go back. Some of France's most charming Southern towns, like Aix, are nearby and the markets are glorious - there's superb food of every imaginable sort - remember this is a region famed for it's fruit and produce. And you're bound to find many tempting second hand treasures and desirable pieces of bric-a-brac. I could write pages about how much I enjoyed this simple paradise, but since this is simply a recommendation, I hope I've said enough. It's a genuinely magical place which I doubt that anyone, either on their own, or with a partner or family, could fail to enjoy."

  • The perfect cliche'

"This house is all that you would hope it would be! We stay in luxury homes all over the world and this was not a disappointment! Charming is the perfect word without calling the house small for a family of 5! We loved the house, the location, the nearby villages and markets....all a dreamy place to relax, read, and just be with each other! The beds were comfy, the decor was beautiful, the amenities were all that we needed. I would definitely return!"

  • Great house, Great Location.

"This house is in a great location being secluded & peaceful yet a 10 minute walk into Mallemort with a supermarket very handy. The house is set in large grounds with loads of space so perfect for families, with several sitting areas around the house & the fabulous pool. The kitchen is spacious with a very nice eating area if it's a bit chilly outside. For the hot summer months the house has Air Con, what a bonus to come in from the heat to a cool kitchen & bedroom.Jocelyne & Michel are perfect hosts & make you very welcome, we would certainly stay her again."
