"The photos and description undersold this fabulous house. It is larger than we expected, with different levels to rooms that meant it took a while to learn our way round. There are two standout bedrooms with lots of space and well equipped bathrooms ensuite, that make you feel quite spoilt. Downstairs there was everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed using the BBQ and spent our evenings eating and sitting outside at the long table. The house is clean and beautifully presented - it's more than a holiday home as there are plenty of pictures and objects to give it a personal touch. We had a problem with the fridge on the first day. With a quick text, Sebastian was with us and measuring up for the new part. He is lovely - he comes to do the pool in the morning (when guests are asleep) and we saw him at Saturday/Tuesday cleans when he comes with the cleaners.
Deposit was fully returned with no quibbles, despite the fridge problem. As a mix of keen and irregular cyclists, this house was positioned just right. We drove to Ventoux - some cycled too - and did many more local routes. The totally flat cycle route from Robion (just over the canal) to, eventually, Apt was a boon. It meant everyone could cycle safely as it takes the path of an old rail line. There are plenty of challenging and picturesque routes from here. There are a couple of ok restaurants in Robion, and we liked the bar (turn left from the house towards the old town) where the locals gather after work. Nearly forgot to mention the pool - large enough to swim properly in. Sebastian put the heating on in the pool when the temperature dipped in the second week, although we didn't really need it. Robion is a few steps away for bread, basics from the mini supermarket. Larger supermarkets are a short drive. All in all, a perfect holiday destination for us and we hope very much to return."

"Our stay here was very special. The property is conveniently located to some must-see destinations in Provence, including historical villages, gourmet markets and chateaus. The house itself is nestled in amongst the woods, so you truly feel like you’re on holiday, and is beautifully furnished with a relaxing vibe. There five of us would recommend this property in a heartbeat."

"I recently returned from spending the entire month of August residing at Mas de la Perdrix.
To say that this home was perfect for our needs is an understatement; the size was ideal for our needs complete with inground pool, gourmet kitchen, and comfortable sitting areas both indoors and out.
It was a perfect home for our family of 3 young adult children as each bedroom had modern ensuites. The family came for 2 weeks and then I entertained a gaggle of mature female friends. This is a high end complete renovation of an old stone mas located in a quiet hameau, with every possible domestic need anticipated.
We filled our half days with road cycling rented through a local bike shop referred by the owner. The bike shop delivered bikes to the house and was amenable to returning to make any necessary small adjustments. We cycled 50-100km/day, and although the terrain was hilly, the main obstacle to long days was the heat requiring us to cycle starting at 7am in the morning. However, it did cool off substantially during the latter 2 weeks of my stay. The terrain and views are glorious with CHARMING hillside towns every 10 km or so. We NEVER had to repeat the same cycle trip once throughout the 2 weeks, using only local maps as our guide! It was glorious, and we have cycled through many parts of Italy in the past; this rivaled all of our previous bike experiences.
Of course, the produce was wonderful esp in summer, and the owner has several Provence cookbooks, so we cooked nightly eating en plein air-goat cheeses galore, charcuterie, tomatoes, zucchini, free range eggs, melons, peaches, breads….. all extremely fresh and plentiful. I especially enjoyed purchasing fresh harvested produce from a local farmer down the road. The kitchen is very well equipped for absolutely ever level of cooking.
The wine of the region is primarily rose and white wine, crazily inexpensive and easy for drinking during hot weather.
Be sure to read the owner’s manual for visiting the various markets around the area; this provided easy distractions while not lounging poolside. A car is a must however.
I would readily return for another month; the owners have created an abode which is a true reflection of life in Provence though with all the comforts of home."
