  • Lovely provincial french countryside home

"My only regret with staying at this house was that is was only for 1 week. It is a beautiful home fully equipped with everything you will need. It is in a quiet private setting. You should know it is not walking distance to restaurants and grocery shops but they are very close by driving. We had a great week in this truly gorgeous home and I would stay again in a heartbeat."

  • Perfect house in the perfect town

"I miss this place and I want to go back. We stayed for two weeks (me, my wife, my parents, and our 1 year old son) and had an incredible, perfect, enjoyable, and memorable stay. The stay started with the nicest greeting and tour from the property manager, Yvette. She showed us all of the the ins and outs of the house and then even took us on a driving tour of Pelissanne, including the grocery store. For the next two weeks, we enjoyed this beautifully restored old stone home. The house is very, very spacious and every corner is unique and well-designed. Despite the lack of climate control, we were always comfortable. On a couple of nights, the fans we brought helped us sleep, but it was always nice. We had dinner every night on the rooftop terrace, a stunning view of the town. The kitchen was well-equipped for lots of cooking. And the town is perfect. Rick Steves has never been there and it is probably not on any tourist map anywhere. So, you get to just enjoy walking to the butcher, the bread maker, and the little grocery stores. There is a cute little park and a couple of friendly cafes. Long-term parking is about a 2-minute walk away, but you can always pull your car up to the front door for loading and unloading. Pelissanne is ideally located for visits to the rest of Provence. You're a 5-minute drive from the A7, which gets you quick access to Marsaille, Avignon, Aix, Chateauneuf de Pape, etc. I can't think of anything negative. Tip: you might have to manually turn the power on for the water-heater if you want hot water all day."

  • As wonderful as the photos

"You have seen the website. You wonder if it can be as lovely. It is. Not only is it as lovely, but it is in perfect condition and perfectly clean. The owners live nearby, and this is comforting. Do it. You will be in love with the Luberon, Gordes, sunrise and sunset And olive trees. Note: for two people only."

  • Perfection in Provence!

"Look no further if you are seeking luxury accommodations in Aix. Our stay at this lovely loft was wonderful. From beginning to end our hosts made sure we were well taken care of. Communication to arrange our stay was easy, friendly and warm. Once we arrived to Aix we were greeted with a welcoming reception. K (one of the owners) reviewed some of the highlights in Provence so that our time there would be well spent. The apartment itself is perfectly situated in old Aix and close to markets, cafés and sites. It was clean, safe, extremely well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The terrace is truly sublime, offering a superlative view of Mont Ste.Victoire , the surrounding countryside and the rooftops of Aix. We had use of a car and were able to visit Arles, Lourmarin, Chateauneuf des Papes, Pont du Gard and Ventabren. Upon return we routinely retreated to the terrace for a glass of rose. Aix was lively when we were there as the students were returning, this added to the vibrancy. We highly recommend La Maison Mamoune. Thank you so much K & T ! We'll be back! a bientot, W & A (North Vancouver, Canada)"
