Recent Marseille property reviews

  • Michael and Karen

"We had the pleasure of renting this apartment during a recent visit to Marseille and would highly recommend it. It was everything we hoped for and more. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we could possible need for our stay. The views were fabulous. We were close to many great restaurants and beaches. Herve met us at the apartment and had wine, cheese etc waiting for us. We loved it!!!"

  • Met my expectations..and more!

"This apartment was perfect for a summer stay in Marseille. It is located in a clean, quiet, and attractive "luxury" building. It is incredibly well equipped, including a wonderful kitchen that will make you want to cook "at home" rather than visit the neighborhood's numerous restaurants; a spacious living room and bedroom, a large terrace overlooking an interior garden, and a shower/bath that is both attractive and offers an array of modern conveniences (including a washing machine). The apartment is ideally situated so as to offer easy access both to the Old Port and the city's numerous beaches. I will be returning to Marseille soon, and I have no doubt that I will try to reserve this apartment again."

  • Traditional French Apartment in a Great Location

"The owner, Paula, was very helpful and friendly from the first day we arrived till the last morning. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had all that was required for a modern tourist. There were lots of shops in the local area and we enjoyed sampling french food. A short walk and we could enjoy all the Old Port had to offer. Will be recommending this apartment to anyone who might be travelling here."

Vacation rentals and Provence villas are the ideal place to discover a small town in France (founded nearly 2600 years ago). Marseille is France's second largest city. Stay in a peaceful vacation home or cottage facing the sea. Sail the deep blue sea in a yacht. The choice is yours.

Marseille Vacation Rentals Have Lots of Amenities

Take advantage of modern enclosed spa/showers, double bedrooms, music players, and a spacious bathroom. Enjoy a view of orchards, gardens, and little stone houses from your balcony. As far as transportation is concerned, you can always catch a busto and from the city center. If you need some exercise, many of the Marseille gites are within walking distance of the beach and city center.

Marseille Travel Offers Many Activities

Visit the quartier (or Provencal village) to discover the beauty and history of France. These villages have their own church and playing field for the game of Boules. Along the coast, between Cassis and Marseille, are the Calanques (or Les Calanques). The Calanques are narrow inlets surrounded by rocky cliffs. Rivers flowing into the Mediterranean formed these cliffs eons ago. For the best view of the city, climb above sea level to see Notre Dame de la Garde. This famous structure is 500 feet tall, and it's covered in gold leaf. The tower served as a lookout post and a place of worship. Admire the Estaque cliffs that became an inspiration to Cezanne. Experience over 2600 years of history on your next vacation to Marseille, France.
