"Les propriétaires de cette très belle masion en ont fait un veritable petit paradis! Seul bemol, la situation, la maison est vraiment dans Marseille. Nous l'imaginions plus à mi parcours entre Marseille et Cassis."

  • Modern apartment in the heart of Marseille

"My family and I (3 adults) stayed in this apartment for one week during our unforgettable trip to Marseille. Wonderful place in the most emblematic and historical part of the city - Old Port. The magnificient views of the Port and historical buildings can be seen from every window of the flat. The flat is on the 2nd floor and it is bright, sunny and perfect for vacation. The metro station, ferryboat, taxi and bus stops accross the road are within less than 1 minute walk. The Spar supermarket and bakery are located 2-3 mins away by walk. The larger supermarket, shops and Tourist Office are 5 mins away on the famous Canebiere avenue. The train station is only few bus stops or one metro stop away from the apartment. There are fishermen selling fresh caught fish at the Port from 8 am till midday. Most of museums and historical places are reacheable by walk. The public transport is great and goes to every touristic place. There are endless restaurants, bars and cafes along the Port. The Piazza at the rear of the building and streets next to the building are full with wonderful places to eat. The apartment itself is modern and spotless. The kitchen/living/sleeping area is an open concept. The double leather sofa/bed is large and can accomodate 2 people. The double bed in the sleeping area can accomodate 2 more people. There is a flat screen TV and Wifi. The kitchen has everything you want. The bathroom/shower is large and its in perfect condition. The wardrobe in the corridor has a large space for storing the clothes. Everything is recently refurbished. The owner is very helpful and friendly. This is a perfect place to explore the city and to get into rhytm of Mediterranian and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. Thank you Jean!"

  • Traditional French Apartment in a Great Location

"The owner, Paula, was very helpful and friendly from the first day we arrived till the last morning. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had all that was required for a modern tourist. There were lots of shops in the local area and we enjoyed sampling french food. A short walk and we could enjoy all the Old Port had to offer. Will be recommending this apartment to anyone who might be travelling here."

Rivers flowing into the Mediterranean formed these cliffs eons ago. For the best view of the city, climb above sea level to see Notre Dame de la Garde. This famous structure is 500 feet tall, and it's covered in gold leaf. The tower served as a lookout post and a place of worship. Admire the Estaque cliffs that became an inspiration to Cezanne.
