  • Amazing House in prime loacation

"I cannot say enough about our stay at this lovely old house. It has all the charm of a 200 year old house with all the amenities that you expect in 2014. Everything was perfect, Tara the property manage was more then helpful to us during our whole stay and gave us great recommendations of place to see. The grounds are amazing and very well kept and the Pool setting is to die for. I look forward to staying here again and will highly recommend to all who are visiting the region."

  • Our perfect 50th anniversary

"My wife and I stayed at La Baume for the first 10 days in April before moving over to Maison des Pelerins for the remainder of the month. The experience was extraordinary, because our expectations were exceeded at every turn. Both properties looked great on the website and each was, in reality, better than they appeared. Immaculate living space, professionally equipped kitchen, beautifully maintained throughout. Both the owner and the on-site manager could not have been more thoughtful, attentive and professional. I would not only recommend the properties to a relative, we brought my daughter and son-in-law over to stay with us for the last week. Provence, of course, is magnificent and this storybook village made for a vacation we will never forget."

  • Absolutely charming apartment

"I absolutely loved Sophie's apartment. I wish I could have stayed longer. It is so charming and comfortable. Paradou is a great location to stay for exploring the region. It is very close to some of the more touristy villages & towns so you can spend the day "out and about" and return to this lovely, quiet sanctuary for a good nights sleep. There is also a parking lot right across the street with plenty of space and it is free. This was my first trip to the south of France & I enjoyed every minute of it. Sophie is a gracious host and I enjoyed meeting her. I hope to return to her lovely apartment and bring my husband with me next time. He'd love it too. I highly recommend staying in Paradou for a true southern France village experience. It's beautiful and the people are friendly. The Carrieres de Lumieres in Les Baux de Provence is a "must see". Merci Sophie for your kindness and hospitality."

Marseille Travel Tips

Enjoy Historic France in Your Marseille Vacation Rentals

If you're planning a Mediterranean vacation in the near future, you'll want to put Marseille, France at the top of your list. Enjoy a beautiful view of the port and the Mediterranean Sea from your Marseille vacation rental. Vacation rentals and Provence villas are the ideal place to discover a small town in France (founded nearly 2600 years ago). Marseille is France's second largest city. Stay in a peaceful vacation home or cottage facing the sea. Sail the deep blue sea in a yacht. The choice is yours.

Marseille Vacation Rentals Have Lots of Amenities

Take advantage of modern enclosed spa/showers, double bedrooms, music players, and a spacious bathroom. Enjoy a view of orchards, gardens, and little stone houses from your balcony. As far as transportation is concerned, you can always catch a busto and from the city center. If you need some exercise, many of the Marseille gites are within walking distance of the beach and city center.

Marseille Travel Offers Many Activities

Visit the quartier (or Provencal village) to discover the beauty and history of France. These villages have their own church and playing field for the game of Boules. Along the coast, between Cassis and Marseille, are the Calanques (or Les Calanques). The Calanques are narrow inlets surrounded by rocky cliffs. Rivers flowing into the Mediterranean formed these cliffs eons ago. For the best view of the city, climb above sea level to see Notre Dame de la Garde. This famous structure is 500 feet tall, and it's covered in gold leaf. The tower served as a lookout post and a place of worship. Admire the Estaque cliffs that became an inspiration to Cezanne. Experience over 2600 years of history on your next vacation to Marseille, France.
