  • Le Petite Maison

"My wife and I stayed for a week at this great little apartment. We were met by Elizabeth (and Joseph, later) and they helped us with parking and baggage shuffling. The location of the apartment is perfect, and right near the center of Lourmarin. The apartment is fully furnished with all that is necessary, and not with hand-me-downs or mismatches. We had everything we needed for the week. Instructions and informational literature, and a book written by Elizabeth about the area was helpful and informative. Strongly recommend that anyone visiting this area consider this place. The village is wonderful, and central to many other scenic spots."

  • Beatiful house very close to the centre

"The house is very nice and typical of the area. It's well maintained and clean. We were with 2 kids who enjoyed the 2nd floor room. Parking is very close and free. 5 mins walking distance to restaurants basr and supermarket. 1min walking to the bakery! Beach it's only half an hour driving and on the route you can find loads of places where you can ride horses. Grabielle (the owner) is very nice and helpful."

  • Quiet, relaxing apartment

"We had a lovely week in Ivan and Linda's apartment. The setting is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting and eating outside while we were there. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. The bed is very comfortable, the shower strong, and the wi-fi service excellent. The location, while secluded, is convenient for visiting many of the sights in the Luberon. We especially enjoyed the Sunday market in St. Martin de la Brasque which Ivan recommended. We would love to return to this apartment and to Provence."

  • highly recommended

"i have to admit as a likely returnee to chez ellen that i have a conflict of interest in heaping effusive praise on this property, but it is special and i feel obligated to share that information with other travelers. The view of the valley and the mountains in the VRBO photo literally does not do justice to the actual view from both the living room and a bedroom balcony. The house itself feels as if it's been carved into the side of a hill and is spacious enough to accommodate comfortably two couples for as long as they want to explore the luberon. The kitchen is well enough equipped to make most meals altho in this oasis of great little restaurants, you're unlikely to cook anything of significance in-house. Ansouis is a small hilltop town w/ as midieval a feel as you're likely to encounter absent access to a working time machine."
