  • Just Lovely

"This is the most beautiful property, it is exactly as described. It was warm and comfortable for our winter visit, albeit in spring-like weather. We loved the views, especially waking up in the morning and watching, through the little circular, as it got light. The village shops are very good and everyone was very friendly. Paolo is very co-operative and easy to deal with, by email. We will certainly return."

  • 65 Days in the Luberon

"After arriving in France we spent five nights in Paris before training to Avignon, picking up a car and driving towards Bonnieux. We had made our selection long before coming to France. This property was nicely situated in the countryside but still in walking distance to Bonnieux. We were not disappointed. As we drove up to this magnificent house we were greeted by a smiling and generous host. Not only was there a welcoming basket including bread, fruit, wine and beer, but the property far exceeded our expectations. We even had our first evening meal prepared for us. It was spotlessly clean and roomy with a modern kitchen, laundry etc. Great attention to detail has been made, with high quality furnishing, linen, crockery and cutlery. The kitchen was a dream to work in, with a brand new stove and oven. Our stay from mid-spring to early summer allowed us to see this amazing area transform. We watched lavender fields burst into flower, vineyards go from budding to full growth and cherries ripen for the picking. Walking up the lane in the evenings to pick cherries and look at the lavender was a highlight. We walked all around Bonnieux, visited all the surrounding hill top villages and local markets. There were two quality vineyards within a few kilometres of the house. Coustellet's market each Sunday was a highlight. This property is so special that we soon felt at home and really did begin to feel that it was our very own. All four bedrooms are large with outstanding views up to Bonnieux. It was truly a stay of a lifetime, something very special to us and something we will never forget and cherish forever. While there we welcomed four groups of friends who stayed from two days to two weeks. They too loved this property, it's tranquility and it's open surroundings. We really can't speak too highly of this great house and it's owners."

  • A relaxing holiday for three generations

"Les Moulins is a very comfortable, spacious residence in a most attractive part of the Luberon. There is easy access to a main road, quick entry to the nearest town and close proximity to several places of interest . The house, itself, has great character and the owners have made sure that all possible needs are met. It is obvious that much thought has gone into making sure that one is treated as a welcome guest. We were warmly greeted and both arrival and departure were made to fit our particular travel needs. The attractive garden and pool were much used. There is a very large living room which was not used very much by us as the sunny kitchen and terrace were too much of a draw. We found restaurants to cope easily with a group of eleven - at Bonnieux and at Café de France in Lacoste . It really helped to keep a high standard of provision having mid-week cleaning and pool- cleaning services. We would have no hesitation in re-visiting or in recommending to friends. With a little additional upgrading to the spacious master suite we would consider it "five star"."

  • What a joy!

"For many years I have dreamt of renting a villa in Provence. After convincing family members we set a date and researched the many beautiful areas before deciding on the gorgeous village of Goult. We chose the villa based on the amazing photos and the fact there was 5 bedrooms. When we arrived our jaws dropped. What an amazing property! We raced from room to room, they just kept getting better. Ingrid welcomed us and was gracious and warm, and we instantly felt at home. With 2 young children the outdoor area was bliss, complete with shower and toilet, and what they termed 'the cave' where we loved to relax at night. The villa was situated a short walk from the town, which was picture perfect and full of amazing restaurants. We became regulars at the wine shop, cafe and grocery store where everyone was so friendly. Each day we travelled to 2 or 3 villages in our area, each had their own feel and were amazing to explore, but we felt we had struck gold with Goult and loved returning at the end of a busy day. The villa and Goult exceeded all of our expectations, I cannot recommend this property enough. Pure bliss and we hope one day to return."
