  • A little slice of Heaven!

"I rented this apartment for myself and some friends for my son's wedding. His reception was held in Fort St Louis, which is almost literally across the street! Although we had to do some room juggling (the photos lead one to believe there are a set of twin beds in each room, but one room has only a double), it was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! The setting is just fantastic! It was comfortable, surprisingly quiet, fairly well equipped (including beach mats and snorkel equipment), with several local eateries right downstairs and also on the beach. It was only a 20 minute walk to the main harbor, market, and shopping, or you could catch the bus as the stop was across the street. One never got tired of the view from the big balcony! We spent many an evening there after a day at the beach or exploring Toulon. The locals were very friendly and helpful and somehow we always found a way to communicate! I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Fantastic Villa in the Heart of Provence

"We recently stayed at this villa and the property exceeded our expectations. We were a family of 8 adults and 1 small child, and the house was large enough so that we never felt we were stepping over each other. The bedrooms were large and there were 4 dining areas to choose from. The bathrooms were well equipped as was the kitchen. The gardens and pool were very well maintained and the water fountain towards the back of the property provided that Provencal charm. The house too had the French country charm with the modern day conveniences. We couldn't have asked for a more ideal property. Though we rented the property in September, we had the opportunity to use the salt water pool, what a treat! The close proximity of the villa to the village of Eygalieres meant that we were almost always in the village shops and bakeries. Central to the Rhone region, meant that day trips to Marseille, Cassis, Orange, Rasteau and Aix-en-Provence were easy and do-able. Some in our party even made a day trip as far as Monaco. Both owner and care-taker of the property were always quick to return our emails and the contract process went rather smoothly. Thank you so much Annick and Rachel. We would highly recommend this villa to those looking for a relaxing vacation with family in a prime central location. This place is special. We would definitly return if in the area."

  • Paradise in Provence

"Exceptional house, exceptional location, exceptional service! The Mas de Pitou has it all -- fully equipped kitchen, many books in French and English, indoor and outdoor dining, swimming pool with outdoor shower, all in a secluded and quiet setting, but only a 15-minute walk to the middle of St-Rémy-de-Provence, with its innumerable restaurants, including three with one-star Michelin ratings in town (La Maison Jaune) or nearby. It's most convenient to have a car to get to the many nearby attractions, such as Les Baux, Pont du Gard, Arles, Avignon, Orange, and much else. You can fly to Marseilles or take the TGV to Avignon and then rent a car there. The let-in lady, Carol Ferri, was thorough in explaining everything about the house, and was always available by telephone if we had any questions. You can't go wrong with this house!"
