  • Perfect

"We rented the villa for a week away with our family to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary .It was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there .The house was very clean and had everything we needed .The kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had. The bedrooms all had air conditioning which on very warm nights was nice to have . The pool is lovely and very safely secured with hedges and fence ,plus security gates to get into the pool area .Our two year old grandson loved it and by the last day had learnt to swim with his armbands a width of the pool ! There were lots of shaded areas to sit in and plenty of options for meal times [kitchen ,dining area in lounge ,2 outside areas ] As a family we had several table tennis challenges between ourselves .Mum and Dad were able to prove we still could beat the youngsters !! The grounds were lovely to wander and included an orchard ,which if you were walking to the village ,you could cross ,and this took 15 mins off the walking time. The property is entered through security gates so we felt very safe here. The area is a very pretty one and there are plenty of places to go to visit and explore. The local markets were fun to visit. We will enjoy returning to investigate more. Francoise the owner was very helpful and always available by phone .If there was a problem he would pop over to sort things out quickly .[not that we had any major problems, but nice to know he was available ] We ate out one night at La Petit Table which was very nice . We would strongly recommend this property ."

  • Terrific Experience

"Spent two terrific weeks in this villa. Was great for just my wife and I, but would handle another couple easily. The home was clean and and stocked with every amenities we needed. The home is located within a 5 minute walk a very good market. Just another couple of minutes into town, which is a very lively town, fun to sit and have lunch with the locals. Very good restaurants. Also within driving distance of many of the small hills town, just a terrific place to headquarter in Provence. The owner David could not have been nicer or more willing to help with any question. He has put together a terrific book describing all the restaurants in the area, big help. Could not recommend this property highly enough. One more point, unlike a lot of other properties, this home has a wonderful yard to enjoy for outdoor relaxing or eating."

Provence Travel Tips

Reserve Provence Rentals and Explore the Local French History

While traveling throughout France, a visit to Provence is in demand to see many of the region’s breathtaking views and attractions. Enjoy the seasonal lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, historical chateaus and even local abbeys found near Provence rentals.

Venture out from Provence Rentals and Enjoy the Natural Wonders

During the summer months, your Provence accommodation offers easy access to expansive lavender fields found throughout the local region. You’ll love the beautiful colors and photos that look much like a postcard. These wild lavender fields are accented by golden wheat fields seen throughout your Provence travel destinations, and serve as a gorgeous backdrop to many famous sites in the area and a highlight of your France vacation.

Choose a Provence Accommodation and Visit the Three Sisters

Senanque Abbey, Silvacane Abbey and Thoronet Abbey are known as the "three sisters of Provence," and are easily accessible from Provence rentals. These 12th-century abbeys were built to house monks of the Cistercian order. Enjoy a day away from your Provence accommodation, touring the church, dormitory and chapter house found in the abbeys. If you prefer, your Provence travel can even include a hike in the hills surrounding one of the abbeys, complete with a picnic and scenic view of surrounding lavender fields.

Include a Visit to Javon Chateau during Your Provence Travel

Built in the 16th century, the Javon Chateau served as shelter for many knights during the Renaissance period. This site, found near Provence rentals, evokes the feeling of stark royalty complemented by well-kept gardens. This Provence accommodation has been owned by the same family for the past five generations, and was recently used during the Second World War. Currently, the chateau serves as a private residence and cannot be toured, though the exterior offers beautiful photo opportunities to remember your Provence travel adventures.
