  • Comfortable Village House with Pool

"This semi-detached house in the village of Eyragues is ideally located for a couple or a family to explore the delights of Provence: Avignon, Arles, Nime, and Les Baux de Provence, are within an hour's drive. And Saint-Remy is only 10 minutes (7 Km) away. (But get there early, especially on a market day, because parking can be a hassle.) The house is rustic, clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The rooms, including the bedrooms, are large and well furnished. The pool is smallish, but is surrounded by a wall so one can swim is complete privacy. The center of the village of Eyragues is a short walk away and has all the amenities needed for daily sustenance (cafe's, restaurants, boulangeries, etc.) My wife and I stayed for two weeks in mid July and highly recommend this home, particularly for families with children."

  • Wonderful

"I spent four weeks here and it was absolutely wonderful. The house and setting with beautiful gardens are more lovely than the pictures. The town is very quaint and has a fantastic market on Fridays. It was like a refuge from the world."

  • Retreat in Venasque

"Venasque is stunning and convenient to many outstanding destinations in Provence. The property is walkable to several restaurants and shops not to mention ancient architecture. Nice large living room on second floor with great books on Provence . Room to cook and dine on large kitchen. Need to Be facile with going up and down stairs. Interesting old French furniture and artifacts"

  • Wonderful fall week in St Remy

"Although we had visited St. Remy briefly several years ago, we wanted to have an extended stay of 15 days in order to get to know the area better. This was the perfect house for us. We totally enjoyed the rooftop terrace, and the layout of rooms enabled us to have time apart when needed. The furnishings are gracious and comfortable; parking was no problem if one didn't mind a short (5-minute) walk to the public parking area; and St. Remy itself is an easily accessible town within comfortable reach of many sites in Provence. Our hosts' caretaker, Chantal, was extremely welcoming and helpful. We'd recommend this property highly."

Provence Travel Tips

Reserve Provence Rentals and Explore the Local French History

While traveling throughout France, a visit to Provence is in demand to see many of the region’s breathtaking views and attractions. Enjoy the seasonal lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, historical chateaus and even local abbeys found near Provence rentals.

Venture out from Provence Rentals and Enjoy the Natural Wonders

During the summer months, your Provence accommodation offers easy access to expansive lavender fields found throughout the local region. You’ll love the beautiful colors and photos that look much like a postcard. These wild lavender fields are accented by golden wheat fields seen throughout your Provence travel destinations, and serve as a gorgeous backdrop to many famous sites in the area and a highlight of your France vacation.

Choose a Provence Accommodation and Visit the Three Sisters

Senanque Abbey, Silvacane Abbey and Thoronet Abbey are known as the "three sisters of Provence," and are easily accessible from Provence rentals. These 12th-century abbeys were built to house monks of the Cistercian order. Enjoy a day away from your Provence accommodation, touring the church, dormitory and chapter house found in the abbeys. If you prefer, your Provence travel can even include a hike in the hills surrounding one of the abbeys, complete with a picnic and scenic view of surrounding lavender fields.

Include a Visit to Javon Chateau during Your Provence Travel

Built in the 16th century, the Javon Chateau served as shelter for many knights during the Renaissance period. This site, found near Provence rentals, evokes the feeling of stark royalty complemented by well-kept gardens. This Provence accommodation has been owned by the same family for the past five generations, and was recently used during the Second World War. Currently, the chateau serves as a private residence and cannot be toured, though the exterior offers beautiful photo opportunities to remember your Provence travel adventures.
