  • Splendid apartment with a magnificent view!

"We spent an amazing week in this impeccable apartment so conveniently located. In fact, the photos do not reflect well enough the splendid apartment and the stunning view from the terrace. The mattresses and bed linen in the bedrooms were of excellent quality. The main bathroom was spacious with marble all around, although we did appreciate having a second shower-room as well. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary electronic appliances. The terrace in L form was large enough to have our meals and comfortably contemplate the panoramic view of both the sea and the magnificent cliff. The nearest beach is only a few minutes away on foot. The city center of Cassis where you can find nice boutique shops, restaurants, and grocery stores less than a 10-minute walk. The region and the apartment was so amazing that we have already recommended the place to our friends, and we will definitely come back next year!"

  • Home away from home -- in Provence

"Our stay in Bonnieux was everything we had hoped it would be. After planes, trains, and automobiles coming from Northern Italy and then the Cote d'Azur, we happily settled into Christine's wonderful home for a week in Bonnieux. Her multi-level home is very clean, well taken care of, and perfectly stocked to make your own meals and enjoy some rosé on the peaceful balcony looking out at the Luberon. Christine herself was extremely responsive and helpful throughout--the perfect hostess. During our stay, we visited many of the villages in the area and really fell in love with both the region and the lifestyle. Even my kids now want to move there. Highly recommend it!"

  • June 2014 visit

"We had a very good stay at the house. All was in order and we remembered all over again why it's such a great location, the scenery and views from the ramparts etc. And we very much enjoyed the house. The new balcony/terrace roof extensions are built in keeping and we found the balcony on the pool side of the house especially useful. The pool was perfect by the way."

  • Exceptional! Our favorite during our 3 month trip!

"My husband and I , and our two children ages 6, 8 stayed here for 8 days, and LOVED everything about the apartment/ our stay. Nela and Stephan were extremely helpful and always available. Our kids said this was their favorite place because the owners left them cookies and books in English. My husband and I have been traveling throughout Europe for 6 weeks now, and this was the BEST VRBO property we have stayed at. It felt like a home. The owners have thought of everything, right down to flowers, coffee, tea...there was nothing this apartment didn't have. The location was also perfect...near everything, but in a quiet, residential street. I would highly recommend this place, and we would love to return for a visit! Thank you again Nela and Stephan (and for the ride to the train station). Kindest Regards, Christine, Walter, Connor and Audrey"

Provence Travel Tips

Reserve Provence Rentals and Explore the Local French History

While traveling throughout France, a visit to Provence is in demand to see many of the region’s breathtaking views and attractions. Enjoy the seasonal lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, historical chateaus and even local abbeys found near Provence rentals.

Venture out from Provence Rentals and Enjoy the Natural Wonders

During the summer months, your Provence accommodation offers easy access to expansive lavender fields found throughout the local region. You’ll love the beautiful colors and photos that look much like a postcard. These wild lavender fields are accented by golden wheat fields seen throughout your Provence travel destinations, and serve as a gorgeous backdrop to many famous sites in the area and a highlight of your France vacation.

Choose a Provence Accommodation and Visit the Three Sisters

Senanque Abbey, Silvacane Abbey and Thoronet Abbey are known as the "three sisters of Provence," and are easily accessible from Provence rentals. These 12th-century abbeys were built to house monks of the Cistercian order. Enjoy a day away from your Provence accommodation, touring the church, dormitory and chapter house found in the abbeys. If you prefer, your Provence travel can even include a hike in the hills surrounding one of the abbeys, complete with a picnic and scenic view of surrounding lavender fields.

Include a Visit to Javon Chateau during Your Provence Travel

Built in the 16th century, the Javon Chateau served as shelter for many knights during the Renaissance period. This site, found near Provence rentals, evokes the feeling of stark royalty complemented by well-kept gardens. This Provence accommodation has been owned by the same family for the past five generations, and was recently used during the Second World War. Currently, the chateau serves as a private residence and cannot be toured, though the exterior offers beautiful photo opportunities to remember your Provence travel adventures.
