  • As wonderful as the photos

"You have seen the website. You wonder if it can be as lovely. It is. Not only is it as lovely, but it is in perfect condition and perfectly clean. The owners live nearby, and this is comforting. Do it. You will be in love with the Luberon, Gordes, sunrise and sunset And olive trees. Note: for two people only."

  • Beautiful rental in perfect location!

"We enjoyed staying at this apartment during a recent 5 day visit to Avignon. The guest space was used by our daughter and new son-in-law, which gave them some privacy. The main unit was so beautiful, stone walls, beamed ceilings, comfortable furniture. It was great to have the garden space because we used it for several meals, and for sitting our with a glass of wine after a busy day. I would be happy to recommend this property to a friend or relative and would be happy to return for another visit myself!"

  • An Enchanted Week

"Of all my visits to the Luberon Valley of Provence, none has been so graced with welcoming warmth, comfirt, and the provision of every amenity I could imagine (and some I couldn't, like the marvelous shower). This vacation home more than lives up to its billing. While staying there, we enjoyed a fire in the monumental hearth each evening, several eals prepared in the meticulously equipped kitchen, trips throuth the neighboring towns and markets, and some memorable dining out experiences (Le Petit Ecole, Cafe de la Poste in Goult, the Restanque in St. Saturnin les Apt) I recommend this property to everyone I talk to, and plan to return for a visit with the rest of my family."

  • Perfect house to explore Roussillon & surroundings

"This house was great for 3 couples by providing enough privacy for everyone to feel comfortable during a week together. Besides the 3 bedrooms, each with a nearby bathrooms of its own, the courtyard and living areas were expansive enough to allow you to feel you weren't tripping over each other. The view was spectacular from the courtyard and the kitchen was well equipped to turn out delicious meals. The house is close to the center of Roussillon but the privacy provided by the orientation of the courtyard made us feel we were out in the countryside. The house is 50 meters from a number of restaurants and within 200 meters of all the food shops you need to stock the larder. We were there for a week and all agreed we could have stayed much longer without tiring of the house or Roussillon. If you are planning on traveling around the area and have a car, the garage is a big benefit (will hold a Ford MiniVan). The one suggestion we have is a thermal blanket over the dipping pool to bring the temperature up would be appreciated as even in July the winds can be brisk."

Provence Travel Tips

Reserve Provence Rentals and Explore the Local French History

While traveling throughout France, a visit to Provence is in demand to see many of the region’s breathtaking views and attractions. Enjoy the seasonal lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, historical chateaus and even local abbeys found near Provence rentals.

Venture out from Provence Rentals and Enjoy the Natural Wonders

During the summer months, your Provence accommodation offers easy access to expansive lavender fields found throughout the local region. You’ll love the beautiful colors and photos that look much like a postcard. These wild lavender fields are accented by golden wheat fields seen throughout your Provence travel destinations, and serve as a gorgeous backdrop to many famous sites in the area and a highlight of your France vacation.

Choose a Provence Accommodation and Visit the Three Sisters

Senanque Abbey, Silvacane Abbey and Thoronet Abbey are known as the "three sisters of Provence," and are easily accessible from Provence rentals. These 12th-century abbeys were built to house monks of the Cistercian order. Enjoy a day away from your Provence accommodation, touring the church, dormitory and chapter house found in the abbeys. If you prefer, your Provence travel can even include a hike in the hills surrounding one of the abbeys, complete with a picnic and scenic view of surrounding lavender fields.

Include a Visit to Javon Chateau during Your Provence Travel

Built in the 16th century, the Javon Chateau served as shelter for many knights during the Renaissance period. This site, found near Provence rentals, evokes the feeling of stark royalty complemented by well-kept gardens. This Provence accommodation has been owned by the same family for the past five generations, and was recently used during the Second World War. Currently, the chateau serves as a private residence and cannot be toured, though the exterior offers beautiful photo opportunities to remember your Provence travel adventures.
