  • This Makes You Feel You Are At Home in Saint Remy

"This cottage is very comfortable and its location is ideal. Gilles and Patricia have clearly gone to great efforts to decorate it and outfit it with furnishings, appliances, and kitchenware, to make the guests feel like they are living at home in Saint Remy. The loft bedroom allowed for a friend to stay two nights and have her own private space. The bottle of rosé and bottle of water in the refrigerator were very much appreciated after a transatlantic flight. Being in the historic center of Saint Remy, we could easily step out to local cafes, stores, and (of course) the Wednesday market. We most liked sitting outside at the small table enjoying a Pastis in the early evening as locals and tourists walked by. The street is very quiet and the house seemed completely secure. Also, there was a strong wifi signal (which is not always the case in rentals). Saint Remy is a good place to be based for exploring other towns. The convenient reserved parking space is also a plus. Best of all, Gilles and Patricia are wonderful hosts."

  • Paradise in Provence

"Exceptional house, exceptional location, exceptional service! The Mas de Pitou has it all -- fully equipped kitchen, many books in French and English, indoor and outdoor dining, swimming pool with outdoor shower, all in a secluded and quiet setting, but only a 15-minute walk to the middle of St-Rémy-de-Provence, with its innumerable restaurants, including three with one-star Michelin ratings in town (La Maison Jaune) or nearby. It's most convenient to have a car to get to the many nearby attractions, such as Les Baux, Pont du Gard, Arles, Avignon, Orange, and much else. You can fly to Marseilles or take the TGV to Avignon and then rent a car there. The let-in lady, Carol Ferri, was thorough in explaining everything about the house, and was always available by telephone if we had any questions. You can't go wrong with this house!"

  • Look No Further...Stay Here!

"All of the good things that I can say about this place and Katya and Patrick just can't compare to how absolutely FABULOUS this place is! It has one of the best if not the best view of Cassis. We spent a week in this wonderful apartment and didn't want to leave! Katya and Patrick are very professional and yet fun! By the way...the homemade jam is incredible...I don't think I thanked Katya for it so THANK YOU! Also the bottle of local wine was the best! You have EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the apartment! Don't miss out a nice glass of wine on the rooftop balcony at sunrise and sunset!!!! We will be back for more!!!!!!"

  • Great condo with all modern conveniences near the heart of town

"We had a marvelous week traversing the area with this condo as home base. The owner could not have been more accommodating from the moment we contacted her through the end of our stay. The property was impeccably clean and well-appointed. We loved the professional kitchen, the outdoor terrace with view of the castle, reserved parking and a solid Internet connection. We were within an easy walk to center of town and all of Vaison la Romaine. It enhanced our stay in the Provence."

Provence Travel Tips

Reserve Provence Rentals and Explore the Local French History

While traveling throughout France, a visit to Provence is in demand to see many of the region’s breathtaking views and attractions. Enjoy the seasonal lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, historical chateaus and even local abbeys found near Provence rentals.

Venture out from Provence Rentals and Enjoy the Natural Wonders

During the summer months, your Provence accommodation offers easy access to expansive lavender fields found throughout the local region. You’ll love the beautiful colors and photos that look much like a postcard. These wild lavender fields are accented by golden wheat fields seen throughout your Provence travel destinations, and serve as a gorgeous backdrop to many famous sites in the area and a highlight of your France vacation.

Choose a Provence Accommodation and Visit the Three Sisters

Senanque Abbey, Silvacane Abbey and Thoronet Abbey are known as the "three sisters of Provence," and are easily accessible from Provence rentals. These 12th-century abbeys were built to house monks of the Cistercian order. Enjoy a day away from your Provence accommodation, touring the church, dormitory and chapter house found in the abbeys. If you prefer, your Provence travel can even include a hike in the hills surrounding one of the abbeys, complete with a picnic and scenic view of surrounding lavender fields.

Include a Visit to Javon Chateau during Your Provence Travel

Built in the 16th century, the Javon Chateau served as shelter for many knights during the Renaissance period. This site, found near Provence rentals, evokes the feeling of stark royalty complemented by well-kept gardens. This Provence accommodation has been owned by the same family for the past five generations, and was recently used during the Second World War. Currently, the chateau serves as a private residence and cannot be toured, though the exterior offers beautiful photo opportunities to remember your Provence travel adventures.
