"I first found Provence Paradis on VRBO for an adult group trip in 2010. For this first trip, our group of 10 stayed in Le Moulin, La Tour & a small hideaway room. Each member of our group fell totally in love with Provence Paradis. Everything was so incredible, that my husband & I returned with one of the couples in 2012, staying in Le Moulin. Again, this hamlet was truly a "Paradise." But our most amazing trip was this June, 2014. We stayed in La Tuilerie with our two sons & their wives for two weeks. Because this was our third time to stay here, I felt like William & his amazing staff were like family. From the delicious meal awaiting us, to all the "extras" William provided, we never wanted to leave. The gardens, pool & spa are so enticing that you must include time in your stay to just relax & breathe in the smells of Provence. We took many day trips recommended by William - Isle sur la Sorgue, La Vaucluse, Arles, Avignon, Chateau Neuf du Pape & so many more. William is an expert on all these sites, & we just had to mention that "William sent us" & everyone treated us like royalty. William IS Provence Paradis. His heart knows no bounds in meeting each guest's requests. He is so intuitive of his guests, that he anticipates their desires before they can. His dedication to adhering to the history & culture of this region is nothing short of a true "labor of love." Each of the houses are exemplary of French provincial architecture & decor. While staying in these houses, we get to "live" history. One of our most enjoyable activities was a personal chef day arranged by William. After discussing what we wanted to have for lunch, Maria (the chef) took us to the market in St. Remy where we bought all the fresh ingredients necessary. We then returned to La Tuilerie where we prepared our own lunch under the tutelage of this marvelous chef. Our gourmet lunch was perfect! William & a neighbor in the hamlet joined us for an unforgettable experience. We will continue to vacation in "Paradise" with William for many years to come."

  • Exceptional Old Provencal House

"We can't recommend The Flop House highly enough! We spent the most incredible week there in Sept 2011. The house is very tastefully decorated and immaculately presented which makes the initial arrival a real wow moment. It's actually better than the photo's, which were enticing enough! It also felt so easy to kick back & relax into it, a real family house and not just a rental. The outside terrace table is sooo great for all the communal meals and the pool has incredible views of Mont Ventoux & easily spacious enough for everyone. We were married at Crillon La Brave nearby & the Flop House transformed perfectly into a reception venue & then slipped back into holiday home luxury the next day. We all loved Bedoin too, which is far less stuffy than other areas of Provence. It's got a brilliant, bustling, weekly market and also works as a great base for exploring the region - which is our favourite area we've discovered in France so far. You can drive to Bedoin in 4 mins but we often preferred walking down the tiny lane at the bottom of the garden...through the vines. It takes about 15 mins. Maddy & Richard were such friendly & helpful owners. Nothing was too much trouble and their attention to detail in The Flop House gives it a real edge in our opinion. Funnily enough... we can't wait to return!!!"

Provence Travel Tips

Reserve Provence Rentals and Explore the Local French History

While traveling throughout France, a visit to Provence is in demand to see many of the region’s breathtaking views and attractions. Enjoy the seasonal lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, historical chateaus and even local abbeys found near Provence rentals.

Venture out from Provence Rentals and Enjoy the Natural Wonders

During the summer months, your Provence accommodation offers easy access to expansive lavender fields found throughout the local region. You’ll love the beautiful colors and photos that look much like a postcard. These wild lavender fields are accented by golden wheat fields seen throughout your Provence travel destinations, and serve as a gorgeous backdrop to many famous sites in the area and a highlight of your France vacation.

Choose a Provence Accommodation and Visit the Three Sisters

Senanque Abbey, Silvacane Abbey and Thoronet Abbey are known as the "three sisters of Provence," and are easily accessible from Provence rentals. These 12th-century abbeys were built to house monks of the Cistercian order. Enjoy a day away from your Provence accommodation, touring the church, dormitory and chapter house found in the abbeys. If you prefer, your Provence travel can even include a hike in the hills surrounding one of the abbeys, complete with a picnic and scenic view of surrounding lavender fields.

Include a Visit to Javon Chateau during Your Provence Travel

Built in the 16th century, the Javon Chateau served as shelter for many knights during the Renaissance period. This site, found near Provence rentals, evokes the feeling of stark royalty complemented by well-kept gardens. This Provence accommodation has been owned by the same family for the past five generations, and was recently used during the Second World War. Currently, the chateau serves as a private residence and cannot be toured, though the exterior offers beautiful photo opportunities to remember your Provence travel adventures.
