  • The best of everything!

"I recently rented this apartment for my family of four, two adults and two teenagers, for approximately a week. We were pleased in every way and feel fortunate to have stayed there. First of all the owners were extremely organized, responsive, and nice, before, during, and after our stay. They made the entire process easy. More to the point, the apartment is large by Paris standards, extremely well appointed, comfortable, and charming. Simply put, it is a beautiful apartment, in a great building, in a fantastic neighborhood, within an awesome city. The location is great, being one short block to a supermarket, one block to a metro station, and perhaps three blocks to a metro station on a different line. The proximity to the user friendly metro system was a real plus. However, the neighborhood itself has much to offer and we frequently walked to dinners or sights. Despite being close to attractions and transit the neighborhood is quiet at night. Even though the apartment is less than half a block from a major street there is no street noise, particularly at night. Having such a comfortable and well appointed place to stay really enhanced our entire vacation. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation to anybody. We have rented apartments at destinations all over Europe and the U.S. and this is among the best experiences that we've had to date."

  • Perfect house in the perfect town

"I miss this place and I want to go back. We stayed for two weeks (me, my wife, my parents, and our 1 year old son) and had an incredible, perfect, enjoyable, and memorable stay. The stay started with the nicest greeting and tour from the property manager, Yvette. She showed us all of the the ins and outs of the house and then even took us on a driving tour of Pelissanne, including the grocery store. For the next two weeks, we enjoyed this beautifully restored old stone home. The house is very, very spacious and every corner is unique and well-designed. Despite the lack of climate control, we were always comfortable. On a couple of nights, the fans we brought helped us sleep, but it was always nice. We had dinner every night on the rooftop terrace, a stunning view of the town. The kitchen was well-equipped for lots of cooking. And the town is perfect. Rick Steves has never been there and it is probably not on any tourist map anywhere. So, you get to just enjoy walking to the butcher, the bread maker, and the little grocery stores. There is a cute little park and a couple of friendly cafes. Long-term parking is about a 2-minute walk away, but you can always pull your car up to the front door for loading and unloading. Pelissanne is ideally located for visits to the rest of Provence. You're a 5-minute drive from the A7, which gets you quick access to Marsaille, Avignon, Aix, Chateauneuf de Pape, etc. I can't think of anything negative. Tip: you might have to manually turn the power on for the water-heater if you want hot water all day."

Provence Travel Tips

Reserve Provence Rentals and Explore the Local French History

While traveling throughout France, a visit to Provence is in demand to see many of the region’s breathtaking views and attractions. Enjoy the seasonal lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, historical chateaus and even local abbeys found near Provence rentals.

Venture out from Provence Rentals and Enjoy the Natural Wonders

During the summer months, your Provence accommodation offers easy access to expansive lavender fields found throughout the local region. You’ll love the beautiful colors and photos that look much like a postcard. These wild lavender fields are accented by golden wheat fields seen throughout your Provence travel destinations, and serve as a gorgeous backdrop to many famous sites in the area and a highlight of your France vacation.

Choose a Provence Accommodation and Visit the Three Sisters

Senanque Abbey, Silvacane Abbey and Thoronet Abbey are known as the "three sisters of Provence," and are easily accessible from Provence rentals. These 12th-century abbeys were built to house monks of the Cistercian order. Enjoy a day away from your Provence accommodation, touring the church, dormitory and chapter house found in the abbeys. If you prefer, your Provence travel can even include a hike in the hills surrounding one of the abbeys, complete with a picnic and scenic view of surrounding lavender fields.

Include a Visit to Javon Chateau during Your Provence Travel

Built in the 16th century, the Javon Chateau served as shelter for many knights during the Renaissance period. This site, found near Provence rentals, evokes the feeling of stark royalty complemented by well-kept gardens. This Provence accommodation has been owned by the same family for the past five generations, and was recently used during the Second World War. Currently, the chateau serves as a private residence and cannot be toured, though the exterior offers beautiful photo opportunities to remember your Provence travel adventures.
