  • Do not miss it

"The listing description is very accurate and the photos reflects the rental's appearance. Very quite location, amazing views, grocery, bars and restaurants - and the very center of Hora itself - within walking distance. The property was clean and very, very well maintained (you definitely perceive how much the owner loves this house from the way he keeps it for himself and his guests). What I can say to give a flavor of how much I liked it is that as soon as I stepped in, I immediately felt at home. The owner also provides you with a binder containing maps, directions, precious tips etc about Amorgos - which I strongly recommend to follow as they enable you to enjoy Amorgos at best. The house caretaker, Manny (US citizen, therefore English mother tongue, if you don't speak Greek), is available almost 24 hour a day for any assistance you may need with respect to the house. I also suggest to visit his wife's shop in Katapola (she's from the US too), the pome grenade, just 5 km away from Hora, where you can find ideas for fancy gifts. In few words, if you are looking for a unique Greek island, Amorgos is your island, and this house is the best place to stay. Hence, don't miss it!"

  • Lovely house with a stunning view

"Lovely house with a stunning view. We were two couples and stayed for eight nights in July. If you’re not familiar with Paros, the house is located at the southern end in a quiet location, away from the traffic and tourists in Paroikia and Naoussa. It’s still easy to drive up to those towns if you want a night out. The closest towns, about 5 minutes drive, are Alyki and Piso Alyki. There you can find tavernas and even a small supermarket that has most items you’ll need to stock your frig. The house is really nice and comfortable. It must have been built in the last few years, so having the updated kitchen and bathrooms are a real treat. Having a washer/dryer was also a great convenience. A hanging clothes rack was provided so you can use it for your beach towels, bathing suits etc., or for air drying your clean laundry. The kitchen has the essentials and there is a BBQ grill outside if you’re so inclined. We stayed in and cooked/BBQ’d about half our nights there and found everything we needed. Eating outside on the veranda at sunset is a must. We had a few mishaps with housekeeping (damp towels at check-in, towels not dried properly the day the housekeepers visited, bed sheets may have been in storage and smelled musty). However, I have communicated these issues to the owners and they explained that they are in the process of finding new housekeepers, so future guests should not have the same issues we did. NOTE: If you are not fluent in Greek, please make sure you let the owners know so that they can possibly arrange for a different manager to assist at check-in and check-out, as ours spoke only Greek. I speak a little Greek so we managed with a bit of difficulty. It would have been impossible otherwise. Overall, we enjoyed the house and the beautiful island of Paros very much. If the owners do remedy the few issues we had, your stay should be most enjoyable and relaxing."

  • Fantastic!

"We stayed at the Villa for a week. It was perfect. Panos and Olga were great hosts. They welcomed us, connected with us during our stay to ensure we were having a good time and guided us to the airport on our departure. We are a family of 5 and had more than enough space. We didn't even need the bottom level. The Villa is clean, beautiful and very peaceful. Just as shown on photos. We had a car for the whole week and managed to see ALL of beautiful Santorini. It was easy to get around and parking was never an issue. I don't think it matters where you are on that island, if you want to see all the beauty on your own clock you need a car. We enjoy remote and peaceful environments, and this villa was in the right location for that. All the major sites, beaches and towns were a short drive away. The small village of Akrotiri had everything one would need from good food, tavernas and markets without having to pay tourist prices. Panos and Olga, extremely fluent in English, were very helpful with answering any question and making suggestions in regards to dining, beaches and any other beauties the island had to offer. The small family restaurant next door had great food and was perfect for take out after a long day of doing nothing at the beach. I bought a watermelon at the market beside and the nice couple that own it gave me a second one for free just incase the one I picked wasn't ripe enough yet. It may not be right in the thick of all the action, but you won't get the genuine local charm that comes with the territory. That is what we enjoy. Thank you to our hosts. You made us feel very comfortable and welcomed."
