  • Fabulous!!!! 5* luxury :-D

"Fabulous views of the sea and the sunsets were wonderful every night with no queing or jostling as we could enjoy from the luxury of the jacuzzi. The villa was beautiful and really cool despite the sweltering heat outside and the shared pool area was excellent - we often had the whole area to ourselves but also met some lovely people during our stay. The owner, Marcos, was very helpful with the booking and, on arrival in Santorini, Rebecca was amazing, always on hand with advice and quickly resolved the minor issues we experienced during the first day or so. We'd love to come back again in the future."

  • Fabulous!

"Santorini was the "holiday" part of our trip to Europe and we couldn't have chosen a more relaxing and beautiful place to stay. The villas (we stayed in a smaller one the first night and DYO for 3)) are very spacious, well equipped, clean. Our kids (teenage boys) loved the pool and we enjoyed morning swims at Kathoros beach where we were often the only ones. The hot tub was a bonus too! Rebecca was incredibly helpful and available to book anything we wanted/needed (incl a sunset sailing trip on a yacht (max 12 ppl) which was well worth it). As per the description, the villas are situated outside of town about a 10 mi walk uphill to get to the center of Oia. We did not mind the walk (even did our grocery shopping in Oia by foot) and enjoyed being away from the crowds in Oia. if you are a runner, run early in the am (before 8) and through the town of Oia up to a small church with amazing views (it's on the footpath to Fira). You'll have the town pretty much to yourself!"

  • A great time, great location in Oia

"Our stay here was wonderful. This home is at an excellent location in Oia, close enough to walk to the main strip of Oia with its shops and restaurants, but removed enough to enjoy the breathtaking Caldera views on the deck, in the pool, and at sunset with tranquility and privacy. We rented a car and were able to park at the house. We enjoyed several nights at Santorini Mou, the restaurant across the street. We caught the hiking trail from Oia to Fira from the house. And it was close enough to walk to Domaine Sigalas, the vineyard in Oia. Right out of a dream! Thank you!"

  • Just perfect!

"It was our first time in Santorini and Maria's Place was the perfect escape! Our vacation started well with Kostas meeting us at the port. We would have been overwhelmed if he was not there to pick us up! When we got there, Anna gave us a warm welcome; showed us to our room; and asked us to come see her once we got settled. She gave us so much useful information! Because of her, we were able to explore and enjoy Oia to its fullest! Our room was perfect! It was nice and clean and had a great view of the ocean. We appreciated the daily maid service too! Maria's Place is in a great location too. It's about a 12-15 minute walk to town. Once you're in town, you had plenty of dining options. And the views...?! My husband and I kept pinching ourselves to make sure that we were really there. Take the walk from Oia to Fira! It can be a bit of a challenge but you cannot beat the view! Plus you can take your time and stop at cafes along the way. Rent an ATV or car(rent it in Fira because they are much cheaper) and explore Santorini! My husband and I rented an ATV for two days and explored most of the island. We were able to see some cute and quaint towns along the way. Such a great experience! And of course, the food...! OMG, we could not get enough! Check out Kyria Niki's. It's a 10 minute drive from Fira on the way to the airport. They make the BEST tomato keftedes(tomato balls), awesome grilled white eggplants, lamb chops to die for and the BEST cocala(I think this is how it's spelled)-braised pig leg! My husband and I ate dinner there two nights in a row because the food is soooo good! It's a whole in a wall but amazing home cooking! All right, enough of the food. Stay at Maria's Place because it's a great place. You can relax, unwind and find yourself again! And Anna and Kostas made the stay even better because of their "red carpet" hospitality! We would definitely go back!"
