  • ideal for us

"we stayed at the "Studio Orange" last month for six nights. It suited us perfectly and we would have no hesitation about staying there again. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details such as the color-theme, kitchen provisions (coffee, tea, etc.), and the way furnishings and accessories are arranged to make very best use of the small space. The location is good for walking all around central Paris, and also near the metro and the 96 bus, which goes direct to Gare Montparnasse via Ile de la Cité and the Latin quarter. We happened to arrive the weekend of the "Brocante de Printemps" on Rue de Bretagne, which was a treat to see. Thanks once again Thierry for your prompt, helpful communication and your hospitality!"

  • This Apartment is Fantastic

"Stayed here with 3 other gals. This is in a wonderful location and the apartment is so spacious. Everyone that we worked with was so nice and helpful. Jim here in the US answered any questions that we had. We took them up on their suggestion that their driver pick us up at the CDG Airport...Good decision (4 ladies with luggage)...we also hired him to take us to the train station when we left. There is a concierge available, Marc, and he was so helpful...we even did a yummy gourmet tour with Marc and had a great time...I would recommend it. Notre Dame is not far and neither is the Louvre and D'Orsay if you like to walk...otherwise there is a metro very close. Way better than staying in a hotel!!! Don't miss the cheese shop across the street...a real delight! Marc will tell you all of the places to go! Thank you again everyone involved for such a wonderful stay in Paris!"

Greece Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Travel to Greece Vacation Rentals

Greece enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate with little regional variation. Summers are typically hot and dry, and rain occurs mostly in the cooler winter months. For at least seven months of the year, Greece enjoys a warm climate. The most pleasant months are generally May to June and September to October. July and August can get particularly hot, and you will find that most locals make use of a midday siesta to avoid the extreme heat. Many shops and restaurants close between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. which can be inconvenient if you are not aware of this. If you want to enjoy the warm climate and beaches, summertime is definitely the best time to visit Greece. If you have more of an interest in Greek culture and history then you may enjoy traveling in the off-peak season. Many of the major sites are found in and around the capital Athens which can get very crowded during the busy tourist season. It’s often more pleasant to travel around in slightly cooler weather and you can linger longer at the sites and attractions that interest you.

To get to Greece, there are number of different transport options. For travelers from North America or northern Europe, it will be most convenient to fly into Athens and from there connect on to your domestic destination. The Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport is located in Sparta which is just outside of Athens. The airport is the country’s busiest and hosts several international airlines. There are regular daily scheduled flights between Athens and most European cities. Travelers from North America and other parts of the world may need to route via London, Amsterdam or Madrid and then connect to Athens. For visitors from the eastern parts of Europe, there are good rail connections with Thessaloniki which is Greece’s main rail hub. During the summer months, there are frequent ferry connections between Greece and its neighboring countries. Many cruise ships also visit the Greek isles and this is a great way to explore the Mediterranean coast.

Delphi is located approximately 100 miles northwest of Athens. It was once considered to be cultural heart of Greece and is linked to several well-known Greek legends.
