  • Clean comfortable apartment, excellent location.

"My wife and I stayed in this apartment for two weeks and had a lovely holiday. The apartment was clean and well fitted out. The bed was large and comfortable to sleep in and there was adequate cupboard space for all our clothes. It was the excellent location to train and bus services which made us decide on this property for our holiday. Getting to other towns on the Riviera was simple with no need to hire a car. The apartment block had a secure entry and the lift to all floors was clean and serviceable. The town of Beaulieu is a treat to stay in it's quiet and not too hilly. There is a marina and two small but clean beaches for swimming and sun bathing. A local restaurant we would definitely recommend a visit to is "La Pignatelle" which is only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Excellent food and great service. We will be back here again very soon."

  • Exceeded Expectations !

"Having seen the gorgeous pictures advertising this property, we expected quite a lot, but the reality when we saw the house and garden, exceeded even our expectations and in truth as good as the photos advertising the property are they don't begin to do this lovely house justice. On arrival, we received a really warm welcome from the owner who showed us around the house and explained where all the local amenities were. The village of Caunes-Minervois is stunning and between the village amenities and the house our every need was catered for. We made several trips whilst we were here, Carcasonne, Minerve and Sete and after a long day sightseeing, it was a pleasure to return to Caunes and this lovely house each evening.. We were here for a week and my only complaint is that it was not nearly long enough......................................."

Greece Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Travel to Greece Vacation Rentals

Greece enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate with little regional variation. Summers are typically hot and dry, and rain occurs mostly in the cooler winter months. For at least seven months of the year, Greece enjoys a warm climate. The most pleasant months are generally May to June and September to October. July and August can get particularly hot, and you will find that most locals make use of a midday siesta to avoid the extreme heat. Many shops and restaurants close between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. which can be inconvenient if you are not aware of this. If you want to enjoy the warm climate and beaches, summertime is definitely the best time to visit Greece. If you have more of an interest in Greek culture and history then you may enjoy traveling in the off-peak season. Many of the major sites are found in and around the capital Athens which can get very crowded during the busy tourist season. It’s often more pleasant to travel around in slightly cooler weather and you can linger longer at the sites and attractions that interest you.

Travelers from North America and other parts of the world may need to route via London, Amsterdam or Madrid and then connect to Athens. For visitors from the eastern parts of Europe, there are good rail connections with Thessaloniki which is Greece’s main rail hub. During the summer months, there are frequent ferry connections between Greece and its neighboring countries. Many cruise ships also visit the Greek isles and this is a great way to explore the Mediterranean coast.
