"We stayed in Aisling Cottage for 4 nights in early Oct. The home was as warm and welcoming as Sean and Connie. The authentic stone home provided a well equipped kichen(essentials to cook basic meals), a comfortable living space to relax after a day exploring, and very comfortable beds to recharge for the next day. The area is beautiful and the location perfect for that section of the Atlantic Way. Galway and Connemara are a pleasant day trip. Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands are an easy trip from the cottage. Aisling cottage is on my "favorite" list as we will stay again on our next trip."

"A group of five women (some friends, some related, aged mid-60s and mid-70s), we thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay in Heron Cottage. The cottage is spacious, perfectly clean, attractively furnished, and has a large, well-equipped kitchen. (A couple appliances could use a repairman: We couldn't get the dishwasher to work, and the big, advertised refrigerator was "down," replaced by a small, just adequate fridge. There's a washing machine but no drier.) Among the great things about the cottage are the windows: Each one, especially the many skylights, offers a different and stunning view. The location is very good for walkers. A short walk up to the ever-tempting ice cream shop takes one to a trail down to the Flaggy Shore, and the 3 K walk along the shore is beautiful and a good place to see area residents out walking dogs and babies. Another, shorter walk is to the Martello Tower. Drives to green road trail heads are fairly short, and (for after the hike!) driving to the excellent Linnane's Lobster Restaurant is easy. We somehow had the idea that a pub was only a short walk away, but we were mistaken in this, but we did well with treats from the ice cream shop. Heron Cottage is a lovely vacation spot."

"Myself and my partner have just stayed in the Stone House for a few days and we wanted to stay a lot longer. The setting is amazing, the scenery fantastic, the beach just down the road beautiful and peaceful, the proximity for exploring the area unreal.
The house itself was pretty much perfect. The bedrooms on ground level are protected from the wild Atlantic weather perfectly (we visited in late October) and the master room opens out onto a garden full of herbs and diverse Burren plant-life.
Upstairs, the great room is stunning. At one end a beautiful raised fireplace which was perfect to warm by after a days exploring. At the other end the most amazing view; a hundred miles of sky and sea viewed through floor to ceiling windows and a balcony outside to step out onto and drink in the sea air. In the middle, a kitchen stocked with every manner of dish and utensil, everything we needed we found.
I could write a lot more, but I think anyone reading will get the gist!
Superb, we'll be back for sure"

"Thank you Louise and Sean for making our vacation in Ireland so very special, relaxing and most of all homey! We had everything we needed and hoped for without ever asking for it. Louise welcomed us into her home truly as family would and we are so very thankful for that. We were a large group with 3 couples and 3 young children all under 5 years of age and our hosts were very understanding of our comfort and the needs of our children. They brought by scooters and ride-on toys for the children to enjoy. Donkeys to pet and a beautiful yard to run in.
They went out of their way to help us procure a spare tire for our rental car that we popped a tire on promptly upon leaving the airport. Thank you for that! Louise even stored some food in the fridge for us before our arrival and gave us lots of handy advice about local worthwhile activities and attractions.
The house was plenty big for all of us to spread out in and was in tidy shape upon our arrival. The backyard and river were lovely to enjoy for both kids and adults. The town itself is super relaxing and serene. Ideal spot for a tranquil holiday.
If we return to Ireland we would stay here again without a second thought.
