  • Wonderful Stay for our 10 year wedding anniversary!

"My husband and I wanted to do something special for our 10 year anniversary so we decided to stay for a week at Ballyportry castle. We were not disappointed. Our stay in this rustic castle was exactly what we wanted. We were greeted warmly by the keeper of the castle, Tanya. She made us a delicious home cooked meal the first night of our stay, gave us a tour and was available for any questions we may have had. We spent most of our nights on the first two floors of the castle and enjoyed sitting by the fire. The view from the rooftop was magnificent. We felt as though we were taken back in time throughout our stay, though we did take advantage of the more modern amenities. Overall, our stay at the castle was nothing short of wonderful!"

  • Lovely property!

"As a group of 5 women visiting Ireland for the first time we could not have picked a better home! It was huge and just like the pictures depict. Rita could not have been a lovelier hostess, thank you for the yummy apple pie! The house itself sits right outside of Ennis, just a few minutes drive. It is a quiet property with easy access to the highway, making sightseeing much easier. We found having a bedroom each after a long day was a nice touch. Each room has a shower, and then there is another separate bathroom with a tub. Lots of room to spread out. Every morning we would have breakfast in the kitchen then hit the road. Rita was extremely easy to work with prior to the trip, promptly answering all emails. (Sorry, Rita, that I sent so many questions!!) This home greatly enhanced our trip to Ireland and I would happily stay there again and recommend it to friends!"

  • Absolutely Spectacular

"This rental home is absolutely wonderful. The 200 year old farmhouse has been renovated to the highest standards. It is spacious, clean and very well equipped. The only thing that surpassed the home was the warmth of our kind hosts, Seamus and Mary. The location was perfect. Close to the nice sized town of Ennis with plenty of pubs and nice restaurants, yet secluded on a large farm, giving you peace, quiet and privacy. I highly recommend this property. Be sure to check out Seamus' other two larger homes, as they are equally spectacular."

  • Spectacular

"This is a wonderful new cottage with an traditional cottage feel. Wonderfully comfortable, with astounding views, near many attractions, but in a quiet rural location, overlooking the Atlantic and the Aran Islands."
