"This lovely, modern home welcomed us in for a magical week's stay just outside the village of Doolin.
The views are gorgeous~ sunsets every evening; the lowing of the cows in the distance, an occasional donkey braying, few cars traveling by. The Irish air and soft mornings and evenings were quite relaxing. With a small convenience store just down the road- we could pick up anything we needed for eating at home; and there are great pubs and restaurants in the village, a very short ride down the hill.
This 4 bedroom home, though large and open, felt quite comfortable and home-y. The space is bright, uncluttered and well furnished. The well-appointed kitchen ( clean and "neat as a pin") has everything you could want or need, including large refrigerator, dishwasher, plenty of counter space and loads of cabinets. Our favorite were the windows looking out to the water and beyond to the Aran islands.
An easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the Doolin Cave, ferry to the Aran islands...just down the road to Ennistymon and Lahinch- a perfect spot to land!
We felt totally cared for and appreciate the kindness and attention shown to us by the rental agent. We feel truly fortunate to have found this gem of a vacation home and look forward to a return visit in the future."

"The house was perfect for our family of 6. Very close to Cliffs of Moher, Alwee Cave and the Burren. Very nice fire place. Washer and dryer very helpful when staying in Ireland for more than 2 weeks. The views were great and had clear nights for star gazing. Info packet was extremely helpful for shopping, dining out and attractions."

"My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Cozy Beach Cottage (aka: Clancy cottage) this past week.
It was everything we expected: in a small town, clean and quaint with all necessary amenities and lots of nearby nature walks. We enjoyed three days and nights: walking down to the pub for a pint and fresh fish and chips, sleeping in and making breakfast at our leisure (fresh brown bread and eggs from the local convenient store--we even added the blackberries--freshly picked by us!--to our morning plates), and in the evening we cozied in the rocking chairs by warmth of the cast iron stove/fireplace and read our books or some of the Irish history papers left by previous guests while sipping tea.
The town of Doolin is only about a 20/minute drive south, and is worth the drive for the traditional/ nontraditiinal Irish music.
You will find a comfortable place to rest and unwind in this cozy cottage. Make sure, however, you bring enough cash...the pub doesn't accept credit cards and you don't want to miss out on their good Guinness (4 euros/pint) and the nearest ATM is about a 30 minute drive... The convenient store will take cards...but there is a minimum purchase.
The cottage is right off the main road--but it is a small 'main' road that is infrequently traveled by cars. We mostly traveled by foot. The location really is perfect for a simple retreat/get away from busy life. We left feeling refreshed and hopeful that we will be able to return soon."

"My husband and I and another couple spent 10 days at the Stone House in late April. The beautiful, well-designed home was a perfect accommodation for the four of us. The bedroom suites, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable great room made for a relaxing stay. The views were spectacular!!! We were blessed with sunny weather making easy our exploration of the unique Burren area. Thanks to Deirdre we had a wealth of information on local activities and places to visit and eat! Anna was most helpful and friendly. We'll remember the beautiful sunsets and new friends in Fanore....possibly the 'longest' village in Ireland!"
