"David's cottage was a dream rental -- beautifully situated, impeccably maintained, close enough to everything but on a quiet road with little traffic. Amazing sunsets, lovely pastoral views of fields with rocks and rainbow-colored cows (one of my favorite things -- in the US, all cows in a herd tend to be the same color ... boring). Spent a week at the cottage inFanore during my birthday tour of County Clare (my namesake) and highly recommend this location as a jumping off point for day trips. If you visit, be sure to visit O'Donoghue's pub for some of the tastiest fish & chips ever. Cottage has a huge, private master BR with a sitting area, and a loft area upstairs perfect for kids."

"We rented this beautiful home for 10 days------ and felt at home from day one. The home and surrounding landscape are more beautiful than the pictures on-line. Martin and Tricia are so easy to work with. They gave us some wonderful ideas on what to see and how to get around Ireland. The welcome basket of breakfast food was much appreciated after a long day of traveling. From this home we were able to travel to Galway, Dublin, and as far as Kinsale. We loved the area and views right from the home. Looking out on the Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands, walking around the area with the ocean, animals and greenry, the pubs in Doolin each night with great food and traditional Irish music, all made for a wonderful vacation destination. Can't wait to return to Ireland and Creig's Cottage one day!"

"A group of 12 of us including 3 teenagers stayed here for three nights as a reunion. I was a bit nervous as I though 12 people staying in one house might be a bit difficult and cramped. However the place was fantastic. All the bedrooms were a great size and the kitchen and living room areas were huge. When we arrived the owners had the two stoves lighting so the place felt very warm and homely. It was spotlessly clean and was exactly as described in the literature. 5 minutes walk takes you into Ballyvaughan which has a number of really nice pubs and restaurants. We did a couple of longs walks in the areas around Fanore and the caves. Both were well marked and easy to follow. It was a really enjoyable couple of days. I have no hesitation in recommending both the house and the area."

"We enjoyed our recent stay at Pine Ridge. This is the finest rental home in Western Ireland. In price, location, amenities, and ambiance. If I could have given a higher star rating, I would have. Louise and Sean are simply smashing. They made our recent stay most enjoyable. Upon our arrival, they showed us how to work the switches, the wood burning stove, and the appliances. They were also very patient with our children. During our stay, they gave us a referral for a GP and answered questions quickly via text messages. This rental home is ideal for anyone staying in the area. We used it as a home base for all of our travels. It was beyond ideal, in every respect. The pictures really do not do this lovely home justice.
Also, the donkeys are very quiet. We brought them carrots, after dinner. By the end of the stay, they were eating clover out of our daughters hands and letting them rub their noses."
