"Our top five reasons to rent Aisling Cottage, in no particular order:
1. A veritable, cozy "home away from home" with plenty of room for 4-6 people.
2. Charming Irish stone cottage near a bay and farm, complete with song birds, flowering garden, cows and other delights.
3. Ideal for day trips along west coast of Ireland - we went as far south as Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary and as far north as Moycullen and west to Spiddal in Co. Galway.
4. The Burren is a magical place where you will be treated to many wonderful people, scenic views and varied habitats.
5. Sean and Connie are the kindest and most hospitable hosts. They should be ambassadors for Ireland, particularly County Clare.
Must see in the region:
*Cliffs of Moher including the drive to and from
*Corcomroe Abbey ruins
*Flaggy Shore drive
*Kilmacduagh Monastery ruins
*Craft fair on Sundays in Ballyvaughn
*Rock of Cashel, Co. Tipperary
Places we enjoyed eating:
*Linnane's Restaurant in New Quay- seafood chowder is so fresh and delicious
*Egan's Pub in Liscannor - best homemade carrot cake we've ever had
*Hyland's in Ballyvaughn - great service and a surprisingly pleasing - squash, peanut butter, chili soup
*Old Ground Restaurant in Ennis - terrific baked chicken stuffed with mashed potatoes and wrapped in bacon"

"My wife and I stayed in the Stables Cottage. Alyson and Sean were wonderful to us providing information, help, and homemade scones! Pamphlets, and maps are available in the cottage. The views of the Irish countryside from the living room are beautiful and relaxing. Sean shared the background of the Stables, originally built in 1872. Loved Alyson and Sean's two dogs. Just a warm, relaxing vacation with truly great owners. Thank you for making our first visit to Ireland one we will always remember.

Fantastic Holiday House. Every Bit As Good As The Pictures Indicate.
"We had a wonderful nine days at the Doonbeg River House in September and we would have loved to stay longer. You can believe everything that is on the website and the reviews below give great accurate details too.
The house is top notch and very comfortable. Our party started with 3, increased to 5, then to 7 (plus 6 mth old twins in travel cots) and then added another 2. Everyone was comfortable with plenty of space and plenty of bed linen, towels and pillows.
The gardens are beautifully maintained and secure so the 3 year olds enjoyed great freedom.
The welcome from Marian was super and she made us feel right at home straight away. Nothing was too much bother.
We had a great holiday and have lovely memories. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the house to anyone and look forward to our next holiday there."

"Everything was so easy, booking, arriving, hospitality of Seamus and Mary, it all made for an extremely relaxing holiday despite the mixed interests of adults and children. The dogs chased swallows on the lawn, the children played on the go carts, the adults went on runs, walks, everyone had picnics, and that was just around the cottage.
We had great fun going to the Falconery and caves at Ballyvaughan, the Burren was just wonderful no matter where we went. It was just a wonderful break and absolutely perfect for a family. Five star, gold star, 10 out of 10."
