  • perfect beach cottage

"My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Cozy Beach Cottage (aka: Clancy cottage) this past week. It was everything we expected: in a small town, clean and quaint with all necessary amenities and lots of nearby nature walks. We enjoyed three days and nights: walking down to the pub for a pint and fresh fish and chips, sleeping in and making breakfast at our leisure (fresh brown bread and eggs from the local convenient store--we even added the blackberries--freshly picked by us!--to our morning plates), and in the evening we cozied in the rocking chairs by warmth of the cast iron stove/fireplace and read our books or some of the Irish history papers left by previous guests while sipping tea. The town of Doolin is only about a 20/minute drive south, and is worth the drive for the traditional/ nontraditiinal Irish music. You will find a comfortable place to rest and unwind in this cozy cottage. Make sure, however, you bring enough cash...the pub doesn't accept credit cards and you don't want to miss out on their good Guinness (4 euros/pint) and the nearest ATM is about a 30 minute drive... The convenient store will take cards...but there is a minimum purchase. The cottage is right off the main road--but it is a small 'main' road that is infrequently traveled by cars. We mostly traveled by foot. The location really is perfect for a simple retreat/get away from busy life. We left feeling refreshed and hopeful that we will be able to return soon."

  • Luxury and location

"We had a wonderful stay in this great house at the coast near the Cliffs of Moher. The owners have done a great job with this house leaving very little to be desired. There is plenty space in and outside the house and the the interior is of high standard. Also the warm welcome and good bye of the very helpful Brendan, who left us alone otherwise was greatly appreciated. The location is also good to do trips from (Cliffs, The Burren, Doolin, etc.) making thanks to its location every trip no matter how long or short interesting from start to finish. Also the restaurants and other advise received was all very good so did not require a lot of research to know where to best go. A bit of a longer drive but very worthwhile is also a visit to beautiful Connemara, all together providing a great variety of beautiful Ireland and the friendly hospitality of the people all around who almost without fail share a great sense of humor."

  • Lovely property!

"As a group of 5 women visiting Ireland for the first time we could not have picked a better home! It was huge and just like the pictures depict. Rita could not have been a lovelier hostess, thank you for the yummy apple pie! The house itself sits right outside of Ennis, just a few minutes drive. It is a quiet property with easy access to the highway, making sightseeing much easier. We found having a bedroom each after a long day was a nice touch. Each room has a shower, and then there is another separate bathroom with a tub. Lots of room to spread out. Every morning we would have breakfast in the kitchen then hit the road. Rita was extremely easy to work with prior to the trip, promptly answering all emails. (Sorry, Rita, that I sent so many questions!!) This home greatly enhanced our trip to Ireland and I would happily stay there again and recommend it to friends!"
