"We spent a week of our honeymoon at Ann O'Callaghan's Gentian Cottage overlooking the Galway Bay and Aran Islands. We could have spent the entire week inside the cottage enjoying the beautiful views and reading on the cheery sun porch. But Gentian is so perfectly located close to the music of Doolin and Lisdovarna, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the Aran Islands, and Galway that one week is not enough. My wife especially enjoyed walking the country roads with the walking stick provided in the cottage. Ann graciously gave us a tour of the family castle next door and build us a peat fire in the cozy living room. We felt completely at home and can't wait to return."

"Clahane is spatious, beautifully fitted and has all the home comforts a family could wish for. The house and location certainly contributed to a wonderful week and we left with fond memories. Natural light streams in through floor to ceiling windows while comfortable outdoor seating all ensure there's ample opportunity to enjoy the sea view and the glorious sun-sets. Infact the only danger is that you won't want to leave the house during your stay to see the wonderful sites of County Clare."

"Thank you Louise and Sean for making our vacation in Ireland so very special, relaxing and most of all homey! We had everything we needed and hoped for without ever asking for it. Louise welcomed us into her home truly as family would and we are so very thankful for that. We were a large group with 3 couples and 3 young children all under 5 years of age and our hosts were very understanding of our comfort and the needs of our children. They brought by scooters and ride-on toys for the children to enjoy. Donkeys to pet and a beautiful yard to run in.
They went out of their way to help us procure a spare tire for our rental car that we popped a tire on promptly upon leaving the airport. Thank you for that! Louise even stored some food in the fridge for us before our arrival and gave us lots of handy advice about local worthwhile activities and attractions.
The house was plenty big for all of us to spread out in and was in tidy shape upon our arrival. The backyard and river were lovely to enjoy for both kids and adults. The town itself is super relaxing and serene. Ideal spot for a tranquil holiday.
If we return to Ireland we would stay here again without a second thought.

"Ballyvara House was an incredible place to spend five days and four nights for seven brothers and our brides. All fourteen of us were amazed at the spaciousness and incredibly comfortable feel of the house. Access to the town of Doolin was great and the people could not have been nicer or more accommodating. A great town to listen to music and then retire to the bar area at Ballyvara House and continue the fun. Becky was a gracious host with helpful information about the area we were staying and things to do. I would recommend Ballyvara House to anyone and everyone."
