  • Lovely property!

"As a group of 5 women visiting Ireland for the first time we could not have picked a better home! It was huge and just like the pictures depict. Rita could not have been a lovelier hostess, thank you for the yummy apple pie! The house itself sits right outside of Ennis, just a few minutes drive. It is a quiet property with easy access to the highway, making sightseeing much easier. We found having a bedroom each after a long day was a nice touch. Each room has a shower, and then there is another separate bathroom with a tub. Lots of room to spread out. Every morning we would have breakfast in the kitchen then hit the road. Rita was extremely easy to work with prior to the trip, promptly answering all emails. (Sorry, Rita, that I sent so many questions!!) This home greatly enhanced our trip to Ireland and I would happily stay there again and recommend it to friends!"

  • Picturesque and quaint

"We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay in Ballyvaughan! We fell in love with everything about this quaint, little village, including the cottage. It was the best home base and centrally located which allowed us to have incredible day trips with a comforting home to return to at the end of each day. The cottage had everything we needed...with even more than we could have imagined. We were so lucky to have spent a week in Ireland at a time where they had the best weather. Sitting in the yard, facing Galway Bay with a glass of wine, watching the sunset, the antics of gulls, swallows, terns and our small "herd" of donkeys brought a peaceful closing to each day. Each morning brought us a spectacular sunrise over the bay. We definitely would like to return and highly recommend this experience to everyone. Highly recommend An Fulacht Fia as an exceptional dining experience, a bike ride on the Aron Islands, a guided tour of the Burren's by Shane Connelly, a night of trad session at The Greene's with Sean Tyrrell, a view of the Cliff's of Moher, Aillwee Cave and the Birds of Prey.....just a few of the highlights. Take a day to drive along the Wild Atlantic Way and be prepared to stop in many charming villages and pubs as well as shops that carry authentic local wool sweaters, scarves, throws, socks and many food items. Of course, the requisite Irish Coffee and beer is a must!"

  • Top Class

"We rented this house over Easter 2015 and it was without a doubt the best house I have ever rented. We are a family of 6 plus we had extended family calling & staying over the weekend. There was plenty of parking for cars, a secure garden for the children to play in and a lovely sitting out area. The kitchen was magnificent with the owner having a selection of essentials provided. Lots of utensils, crockery & decent wine glasses were put to good use:) We had plenty of room for feeding all of us as the table comfortable seats 12. The sitting rom was perfect with good selection of channels & DVD's provided. The bedrooms were very spacious and everyone had a good nights sleep!! It was in an ideal location for walking to town & beach."

  • Outstanding Rental, Gorgeous Environs

"David's cottage was a dream rental -- beautifully situated, impeccably maintained, close enough to everything but on a quiet road with little traffic. Amazing sunsets, lovely pastoral views of fields with rocks and rainbow-colored cows (one of my favorite things -- in the US, all cows in a herd tend to be the same color ... boring). Spent a week at the cottage inFanore during my birthday tour of County Clare (my namesake) and highly recommend this location as a jumping off point for day trips. If you visit, be sure to visit O'Donoghue's pub for some of the tastiest fish & chips ever. Cottage has a huge, private master BR with a sitting area, and a loft area upstairs perfect for kids."
