"This cottage was absolutely wonderful for our family of 6. There was plenty of space (there was even an extra bedroom we didn't use). It had everything we needed - a great kitchen, SPECTACULAR views, even a massage chair in the sun room! You can see the sea from your backyard, along with a beautiful field of flowers, and there are some ruins just next door. The owners were so helpful and came over whenever we had questions or needed any help. Doolin is great little town and has the best live music in the country! We were so happy with our decision to stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat! Hopefully we'll be back one day!"

"This house made our family trip to Ireland magical!!! Waking up to the views of Doonagore Castle, the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher was absolutely amazing!!! The house is a very nice modern house that was spacious enough for us to spread out with all the modern conveniences a house with teenagers need. The house was clean and well furnished, the water pressure was great, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen has all the modern appliances one could ask for, the laundry facilities made it possible for us to pack lightly which left room in our luggage to bring back lots of purchases we made while exploring the west coast of Ireland. After coming back from our daily excursions we were able to take walks down to the Cliffs of Moher walking trail since it was light out until 11:00 PM!!! The rental manager also great and very helpful. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Castlewood. This house was perfect!!! My only regret is not staying longer!!!"

"We stayed in Aisling Cottage for 4 nights in early Oct. The home was as warm and welcoming as Sean and Connie. The authentic stone home provided a well equipped kichen(essentials to cook basic meals), a comfortable living space to relax after a day exploring, and very comfortable beds to recharge for the next day. The area is beautiful and the location perfect for that section of the Atlantic Way. Galway and Connemara are a pleasant day trip. Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands are an easy trip from the cottage. Aisling cottage is on my "favorite" list as we will stay again on our next trip."

Keeps Getting Better - Year 3 Family Reunion for 32 at Ballyvara
"We have just come back from our 3rd family reunion at Ballyvara (and are working on a date for 2016). With 3 generations going from 4 to 83 years, Ballyvara caters for all our needs and more. 32 of us had a fantastic weekend - we walked, we talked, we ate and we drank. Some didn't even leave the grounds of the house as they were having too much fun where they were. The children cried when they left as they enjoyed it so much - and now we have 12 months of them asking, ' how long till we go back to the big house in Clare'!! Ballyvara has a great location, fantastic facilities and a brilliant athmosphere. It's not just the kids that are looking forward to next year...."
