  • Everything we expected!!

"Thank you so much for opening this lovely property up and sharing it with renters such as myself! My friends and I just got back from our first trip to Ireland and we could not have been happier with our stay in Goleen. The house was just as the other reviews states: WONDERFUL! We have been looking forward to this visit to the lighthouse for so long and we were not disappointed. Angelique was very helpful with everything we needed. Everything about the property was so peaceful and we felt at home immediately. I personally enjoyed waking up before anyone else and enjoying a cup of tea while looking out over the beautiful ocean. It was just what this busy girl needed in a vacation away with her buddies and I cannot thank you enough! I plan on visiting Ireland again and I would stay at your lovely lighthouse again in a heartbeat! Thanks again!"

Kinsale Travel Tips

Getting Away to Kinsale Vacation Rentals

Kinsale, in County Cork, Ireland, is a popular holiday destination for both the Irish and foreigners. The coastal town on the southern tip of County Cork is one full of heritage and scenic beauty, and is also renowned as Ireland's gourmet capital, host to numerous fine hotels and restaurants, and the location of an annual gourmet food festival. Kinsale is a natural harbor, and its marina is right in the center of town. The town is popular with yachters, and yachts and sailboats are available for charter and rental.

Kinsale, Fair Trade and Transition

Kinsale is the second Fair Trade city in Ireland, holding itself and its businesses accountable to the fair trade financial tactics used to economically empower Third World nations. Kinsale is also a Transition Town, helping to build a sustainable future. There is a bus route that runs the fifteen minute route to Cork City and Cork Airport. Kinsale's goal to be as green as the Irish hills that surround it also make the town a great place for those seeking a Cork House rental; a Kinsale accommodation gives a traveler excellent access to the town's beach, and to such sights as historic Fort Charles, an Irish Heritage site, and the 'Old Head of Kinsale,' a natural rock formation on the coast, atop of which is one of the World's best golf courses.

Kinsale Attractions, In and Out of Town

Kinsale vacataion rentals allow a group of tourists to step right into the life of a Kinsale native by renting a house. While visitors here will definitely want to try some of the local fine dining, they can also save by using the house's kitchen to make dinner. Some rentals are right on the coast, and right on the beach, yet also a minute's walk from the marina or downtown.
