  • Great value in Dublin

"Great studio apartment for two, with the possibility of a third person in reasonable comfort. Nice old brick building in a quiet neighbourhood. A little far from downtown if you plan to walk, but VERY convenient for Dublin city buses. A Tesco supermarket just down the street for everything you need. Not much choice for restaurants close by, but again, a very short bus ride to everything you could want. The owner Liam is very friendly and helpful, and ready to answer any and all questions. The only negative comment I have is that the wi-fi connection is weak in the apartment, and some devices can only connect when in the entryway. Maybe Liam could do something to boost the signal a bit! All in all, a great value for anyone seeking a comfortable home base while in Dublin."

  • Stay Here

"The apartment is in a secure building and a great location for walking to all key spots in Dublin. The National Concert Hall is just a couple blocks away and museums not too much further. You can walk along the tow path beside the Canal to get into the city too.most locals seem to use that route as well. There is a metro station there but we never needed it - it's convenient if you do. The owners are easy to work with and prompt in responding to all my inquiries. The amenities including American style washer and dryer were nice touches. The beds are very comfortable. Being next to the hotel ensures easy access to taxi service at all hours."

  • Our home away from Home!

"We loved our 8 night stay in The Upstairs Apartment! Although, getting to Ireland was an awful experience (thanks to American Airlines). It was very comfortable for the four of us. We were happy to find the apartment exactly like the pictures, and the location was in a wonderful area, with easy access to the downtown area. Everything, you could imagine needing for a stay away from home was already thought of and close at hand. We took the Luas everywhere we went. We loved, and enjoyed the Italian restaurant and The Black Lion pub immensely. Here is a tip for you, if you do not mind walking, should you go on the Hop on Hop off bus tour. Get off at Kilmainham Gaol and walk the 15 minutes to the apartment save on the bus/Luas fare. The owner (Gráinne) was in constant contact with us, the caretaker (Valerie), and the taxi driver (Rory) were most helpful. We felt like we were in good hands. We will be back to stay in Inchicore, Dublin. We would encourage anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and convenient place to stay in Dublin, to definitely stay at the Old World apartments. Thanks again Grainne and Team!"

  • Wonderful vacation

"We totally enjoyed our stay and when returning to Dublin, Glen Court Apartments will be our choice lodging. Excellent location and within a short walk to grocery store and several great restaurants. Liam is an excellent host. He also arranged all of our ground transportation and his drivers were very friendly and always arrived on time. We would not hesitate to stay with Liam again."
