  • 8 nights at the Coach House for the four of us

"We knew the Coach House was going to be nice from the pictures and you can never go wrong in Galway. It was incredible. We have been to Galway 4 times in the last 10 years. This trip was for a wedding so we didn't want to stay with family members. My financee, two sisters and I really loved the Coach House. We all had so much space. My financee found the VRBO on line from our desks in San Diego. All we told her was Galway and make it central. It was exactly that. 3 minute walk to Kai, 3 and a half to The Crane, maybe 10 to Monroe's. We walked to my uncle's house in Coogan Park. We walked to every corner of Eirye Square. 2 of the nights we stayed in and enjoyed the Coach House. Incredibly clean, warm, fireplace, dishes, hair blow dryers for the girls, skylights, incredible bedding (I slept in every day-window open listening to some rain), heated floors to walk across, gift basket, blankets everywhere, bags for the grocery store, I really could go on an on. Full kitchen so lovely. We walked to grocery store two short blocks away. Liz was so nice to us. She welcomed us, accepted our phone calls with questions about town, and really reminded me of Irish hospitality."

  • A Wonderful Stay

"We are a group of 4 ladies in our 60's visiting Ireland for the first time. We stayed at The Silver Teal for 4 nights. We were met at the apartment by Liz. She gave us a tour of the premises and shared some recommendations for places to eat and tours that she felt we would find interesting. On our first day there was a shortage of hot water. We suspected that the apartment has been empty prior to our arrival as there was plenty for the subsequent 3 days. The beds were comfortable; plenty of towels and bed linens. A large basket of food was a surprise. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. We found the entire apartment very comfortable and welcoming. Within walking distance we found The Crane Pub. In the upstairs space there was a jam session every night beginning around 10 or 10:30. This was awesome! There were recitations, singing in the Irish language and musicians from around the world who came together. It is a very small space ; very lively but when someone decided to sing the entire place fell silent.... So respectful and appreciative . The apartment is in an ideal location (we did not rent a car); the pictures are accurate and we found it to be clean. We would recommend this apartment to anybody who does not have issues with mobility. The stairs leading to the apartment might be difficult for persons who have physical challenges."

  • Lovely stay

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage - we just wished we would have had more time during our stay there to enjoy it and the property! The owners were kind and helpful, and responsive when we had any problems. We would love to come back with a larger group and stay in both the house and the cottage. Definitely a value, and very cozy and comfy."

  • Amazing!

"This manor house was an amazing place to stay. There were 4 adults and 3 children and we could not have been happier with our choice. The scenic surroundings made it difficult to leave such a magical place. Jean-Paul could not have been more accommodating, even leaving flowers for my daughter and son-in laws anniversary. Hope to return someday and would definitely stay at the manor house. Thank you!"
