"Our family of seven recently stayed in this fantastic home near Tralee on the Dingle Peninsula. The home is gorgeous, very clean, has ample space and modern amenities. The design and attention to detail is amazing and we felt so comfortable here. The kitchen is well appointed and we cooked many dinners and enjoyed the views in the evening. The kids enjoyed playing board games in the large living area and playing wide games out on the lawns.
The owner, Mel, was so helpful in the planning process and gave us many suggestions for day excursions, dining, nearby shops, etc... She got in touch with us during our stay to see if there were any questions or concerns.
While staying in this home we enjoyed day trips to Blarney Castle, Adair Manor, Dingle, horse riding on the Slieve Mish Mountains, the acquarium, fantastic hikes including the best one up to Eask Tower, and days at the beach in Castlegregory.
We are all looking forward to returning one day soon."

"We stayed here for three nights and though it wasn't our favorite place we stayed in Ireland, it was very nice. The cottage has a ton of character, which is absolutely lovely if you are going for a more traditional feel to your stay. The hot tub was fantastic and it was a nice "homebase" for driving to visit other places during the day. Also, there is a nice grocer just down the way and bar if you want to drop by for a drink. The only complaints we had were that the place was extremely chilly despite having heat and the pressurized water is kind of silly. No matter how slow/gentle you are with turning on the faucets, you're going to get the front of your pants wet (especially in the bathroom in one of the bedrooms because it has a shallow sink). Also, the floors are uneven and if you aren't careful you will stub your toes on the different levels (mayeb not great for small children running around). However, in a way these floors go with the charm of the place so just be careful and you will be okay. On a side note, if you are planning on staying here in the future and are trying to find the place, the cottage is literally across the street from a cemetery. We drove past it a few times before seeing the cottage which is somewhat hidden behind foliage. So if you see the cemetery, it is across the street. My husband and I thought this was hilarious (obviously not a deal breaker in the slightest but just the idea of probably not advertising that the place is located there, haha)."

"Our group of 14 friends and family members enjoyed a glorious week in Coolclogher Manor during the first week of June. We were hoping for a spacious, elegant and inviting home in which to spend a week in County Kerry. Our hopes and expectations were exceeded in every way. Mary is the consummate host. Her daily visits to check in on us were always a highlight of the day. Mary loves Coolclogher Manor (and for good reason as it is obviously a labor of love for Mary and Morris), but her ultimate passion seems to lie in doing her very best to make sure her guests have a great holiday experience in Killarney. The amenities and features of Coolclogher are too numerous to list in detail. But what made our stay so truly memorable were the "little" things. We will always remember the cozy fires that were prepared and ready for us when we came in from a cool, rainy Irish day. Our kids enjoyed playing the piano and exploring the stunning 68 acres of gorgeous Irish countryside that surround Coolclogher. We took advantage of the opportunity to have Claude and his staff prepare some meals for us. Not only was the food amazing, but sharing a fabulous meal together in the setting of such a beautiful and elegant dining room created just the right atmosphere. Every bedroom was luxurious and uniquely furnished with beautiful antiques. The "common" areas of the house are all sumptuously decorated, yet warm and inviting. However, everyone's favorite gathering place was the large, country style kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast together around the kitchen table, often with a warm fire going in the fire place. The surrounding area of County Kerry provides a wealth of activities and day trips to keep travelers of various types entertained for weeks on end. The only negative thing about Coolclogher was having to leave at the end of the week!"

"We have stayed at the Beachmount House several times and the only problem we have is "We have to leave!!" We arrived this year on 04th March, 2015 and unfortunately have to leave tomorrow, the 30th of March. As is the norm, upon our arrival the customary bottle of wine was on the table with a beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers. As I have stated on other reviews of this property, it cannot be beat. The location is perfect/ideal. Quick and easy access to Dingle and Dun Quin and just a bit farther to Balleyferriter. The views of Ventry Bay are breath taking from the bedrooms in the front of the house, the family sitting room and the kitchen. All the rooms are well furnished and comfortable. There is even a crib in case there is a baby along for the holiday. The kitchen is well equipped, WiFi and TV for your convenience. Washer and dryer if needed. And, if this isn't enough, the lady that runs this property is extremely gracious and kind. She cannot do enough for you. Ask and if she can't answer (which is doubtful) she will find the answer to any question. This is why my wife and I book our holiday around the schedule of the property. I would not want to stay any where else! I feel at home."
