  • Family vacation

"My spouse, 3 grown children, with 2 spouses, and I stayed for a week. We could not have asked for better accommodations. The view is spectacular. We give this place an unqualified recommendation."

  • Great location. Perfect House for Us.

"I'm very familiar with this fabulous tourist destination and picked this house specifically for it's location right in the center of Caherdaniel. It was perfect for us. Almost a year later, I still think about that lovely bright master bedroom with soft comfy sheets, plenty of light for reading at night and a beautiful view out over the fields. The second bedroom was perfect for our daughter. She loved her cozy room with the futon bed. Initially, I was concerned about no wifi or TV for my teenager, but she quickly learned to appreciate the radio. She listened to it a lot. We loved having the second bathroom. The kitchen was perfect for a holiday house. The living room had a nice fire that we lit every night. We hiked the hills, ran the scenic road to Derrynane and listened to live music every night. We rented horses from Caroline and rode along the beach. We met lovely people everywhere. The coffee shop across from the Blind Piper has fabulous scones and tea. We rented a wifi device from the car rental company which was perfect. I appreciated Maurice's long welcome letter with all the details necessary to get around, find provisions, and work the devices. There were plenty of 'where to go' books in the living room. My husband jokingly said his only complaint were the loud cows moo-ing up the hill behind the house. ha ha.. I'll take a cow over a Septa Bus any day! Can't wait to go back."

  • The Priory is perfection!!!

"We could not have asked for a better place to make our home base for our vacation to Ireland! We are family of 16 (ranging in age from 6 months to 73 years and everything in between) and The Priory and Killarney provided us with the vacation of a lifetime! The home is spectacular and fit all of us comfortably (we also rented the Loft for overflow sleeping), Killarney is a wonderful, family friendly town and the Priory owners and their children (and dog) could not have been nicer! Almost immediately we felt right at home! The house was immaculate and provided all of the comforts of home and then some! We enjoyed strolls into town, hikes and bike rides through Muckross House and the national park, and day tours to Dingle and the Ring of Kerry (organized by the owner of the Priory and led by his friend and his 18 passenger bus!). The breakfast that the owners made for us the first day started our vacation off on a high note, and the multi-generational soccer games on the front lawn left us with great stories to tell our friends and family back home! Thank you for sharing your amazing home and equally wonderful family with us! We will never forget our time at the Priory!"

  • One of the most beautiful spots on Earth!

"We have been home for two weeks and are still smiling about our Ireland experience! The highlight of our adventure was the week we spent at this beautiful home. It was perfect for our group of six, three couples traveling together throughout Ireland. The house is located in a lovely spot which allowed us the advantage of lunching at a great pottery shop/cafe just doors away, watching sunsets while sipping wine in the rocking chairs, and sharing several meals in the relaxed atmosphere of the dining room. One of my personal favorite memories was having morning tea in the dining room and watching the sun rise over the ridge in the East while the full moon was still visible in the West over the ocean. Incredible! Because this was midway into our trip, it was so nice to have the washer/dryer available. Leah and Eric, Thank You for allowing us to share your lovely home, the fascinating private tour of Dingle, and all your wonderful suggestions for eateries and spots of interest."
