  • Glorious location, lovely house

"We enjoyed four days here in June. Kevin was so proactive in sending us information about the property and things to do in the area. The house is stunning, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We loved the views and the glorious sunshine! We were very lucky with the weather, but would imagine that this would be a gorgeous place to stay even in the rain!"

  • You couldn't find a more beautiful place or vista!

"Other reviewers have commented that the pictures on the site don't do this home justice and they were right. This is an absolutely stunning house with beautiful and quality attention to detail in the architecture and decor--every room is beautifully appointed. There is lots of room for a family or group to enjoy themselves, have space to spread out or all be together. And all amenities are taken care of so it really is worry free. The views from the main room out to the sheep pastures and bay are wonderfully pastoral and you can feel yourself relax just gazing out at the scenery. The kitchen is a dream in which to prepare a meal or enjoy a glass (or two) of wine or Guinness and our group may have set a new record judging by the empty bottles! What is better than sitting in a window seat looking out on the magnificent scenery or turning your gaze to the beautiful great room that incorporates a living area, dining area and fabulous kitchen--the views are wonderful no matter where you look. The owner and family are wonderfully attentive to every need and in ensuring that your stay is not only enjoyable, but top notch. We enjoyed the surrounding foot or by car...there is so much to discover and enjoy in this area of Ireland. We can't say enough about this property...and hope others get to share in the experience."

  • Perfect for our group of 9

"The size of this house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room for each family member for sleeping and loved the dining area for end of day pow wows. It was also great having a couple of food items already available to us - milk, orange juice, bread, coffee, tea, etc. While the hot water was not enough, at times, for the group of us, we made do. We were not too far from the town and it did not impede our activities."

"We stayed at Beachmount House from 11 March, 2014 until 30 March, 2014. Would have loved to stay longer but had to return home although this was like being home! The house is PERFECT! It is everything stated in it's description and more. Perfect location, Perfect amenities, Perfect host (the lady couldn't do enough for us), Perfect, Perfect, Perfect! It is close to Dingle, it is close to Slea Head, it is close to Dun Quin and Balleyferriter. All the rooms (kitchen, bath, sitting, bed) are well equipped and comfortable. Great view of the mountains and Ventry Bay from the kitchen and the sitting room. The sitting room is perfect for those very, very cold, windy, rainy nights when one wants to just sit in with a hot pot of tea and watch the tele, read or play games. If I could give this house a 10 star rating, I would. Really, this place is a gem, see for yourself for you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to our next stay which I hope will be soon."
