"We booked with the owner two days before our arrival as our prior travel arrangements got dashed at the last minute. The owner could not have been more responsive and accommodating. Upon our arrival, the property manager warmly greeted us and gave us a wealth of information that made our stay all the more convenient and enjoyable.
Everything you read in the other reviews is spot on. The home is immaculately clean and well appointed. The presence of the guitar, fiddle, piano and squeezebox are great diversions for musicians who have come to the area for its rich traditional Irish music scene. It's location is perfect, just outside the bustle of Dingle Town but close enough to walk (or cab if you're not so inclined). A local cell phone with 10 euro of time already loaded on it (which you can "top up" at the supermarket if you run out) is another amenity provided which was a nice touch and very useful for making restaurant reservations, calling cabs, etc.
Once you wander into town, the locals are more than willing to point you to things which might interest you just for the asking. Using their input, along with the Rick Steves guide (which we found to be spot on in nearly every instance), we were not disappointed. The number of outstanding musicians per capita playing in the local pubs is equal to U.S. music towns like Nashville and New Orleans. While the pubs are where the real fun is, don't miss a trad music performance in the Dingle Music Shop or the St. James Church where the setting is more intimate and the audience more subdued.
One new activity that appears to not have hit the general info guides yet is the Dingle Cookery School on the west end of town. We took an Irish cooking course there and spent a wonderful rainy afternoon learning about and cooking traditional Irish dishes, including brown bread and a hearty turnip and squash soup that left us so full up and satisfied we skipped dinner.
All in all, lots to do and see in and around Dingle. Then after long days and nights of exploring and pub crawling, you return back to the home for peace, quiet and comfort and to recharge your batteries for tomorrow!

"Our family of seven recently stayed in this fantastic home near Tralee on the Dingle Peninsula. The home is gorgeous, very clean, has ample space and modern amenities. The design and attention to detail is amazing and we felt so comfortable here. The kitchen is well appointed and we cooked many dinners and enjoyed the views in the evening. The kids enjoyed playing board games in the large living area and playing wide games out on the lawns.
The owner, Mel, was so helpful in the planning process and gave us many suggestions for day excursions, dining, nearby shops, etc... She got in touch with us during our stay to see if there were any questions or concerns.
While staying in this home we enjoyed day trips to Blarney Castle, Adair Manor, Dingle, horse riding on the Slieve Mish Mountains, the acquarium, fantastic hikes including the best one up to Eask Tower, and days at the beach in Castlegregory.
We are all looking forward to returning one day soon."

"We were looking for a quiet place for our kids to let loose and enjoy our week in Ireland. Julie's rental was superb. The home is wonderful and the views are second to none. Dingle is a fun little town and the location is a great staging point for various activities in the area. Our kids couldn't get enough of the beach, sheep, cattle. The photos of the house don't do it justice. The scale is much bigger than I expected, especially the enormous kitchen and dining room. If you're thinking about staying on the Dingle peninsula, I'd absolutely recommend staying here. Julie will take great care of you."

"I always try to write reviews, but I knew this one would be hard to write since how many ways can you say the same thing as the many positive reviews already posted.
In Ireland you never know what you will get for weather but we arrived on a day when the sun was shining bright and very little wind.
Three of us got out of the car and literally gasped at the beauty in front of us. We entered the House and windows were in all the right places in the Living Room, and the Master Bedroom (if possible) had even a more spectacular view,
Everything you could want or need is in the House .
Then the bonus we got to meet Philomena who with her husband built the house and a new smaller one right next to it.
As they are prone to say in Ireland , Philomena is a lovely woman. It was so much fun talking to her and the next day we met one of her daughters (Sharon) who had us smiling with stories of some of the Bus Drivers in Ireland.
This is a place that if you want to rest your head on a pillow knowing that when you wake up one of the most spectacular views in the world will greet you, then just send in your deposit.
I have been lucky enough to travel through most of the World. There are only a few places in the world that can match Ireland for overall beauty and even a smaller number of locations that the average person can afford and be given such a fabulous location and home to make their own for a few days or weeks (if lucky)
Then you get the Bonus of the Irish people who I find among the friendliest and helpful people in the world.
There is so much more I could write about the beauty of the Dingle Peninsula but I will leave that to the Guide Books.
If you want something special, plan your trip to rent the Stone House. I promise you will not be sorry!!"
