"We stayed at this wonderful house for 7 nights and wished we had stayed longer. We did 3 big hikes in the area and had a wonderful time relaxing. Everything was great (the refrigerator was smaller then anticipated. My husband is on a strict diet of plant based food and it was hard to store all of our food). But, I would definitely recommend this place. Kevin was so easy to work with and even recommended places to stay in the Galway area after we left his place. Wonderful memories of our trip to Ireland and the best memories will always be the time we spend in the Dingle area."Guest: Connie B Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 11, 2014View listing
"We had the most wonderful time staying at Tra Cinn Aird. When we arrived at the house, Peter welcomed us in. We were immediately struck by the stunning views that spread out before us--mountainous, ocean, cliffs and hills--laid out for our constant enjoyment. The house is covered in windows, so no matter where you are in the house, you are guaranteed to enjoy the view. Peter was immensely helpful in providing us with great advice for food, music and adventures. He even recommended a location for us to pick muscles for dinner! We had a great time poking around the Dingle Peninsula, driving, hiking and walking all over the sprawling green hills. However no matter what we did during the day, we were even more happy to be coming home to Tra Cinn Aird. It was the kind of comfortable, cozy home that you forget is not your own. With comfortable furniture, a great music selection, and even some great board games--we were always entertained. To top it all off, we started and ended our days on the glorious patio. We ate our breakfast on the patio, enjoyed cocktails on the patio, and even ate a dinner out there! We really couldn't have had a more wonderful vacation in Ireland, and I hope that we are lucky enough to come back and stay in Tra Cinn Aird!!"Guest: Sarah Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 21, 2014View listing
"My wife and I spent one week this August at this perfect house and property. We felt completely comfortable from the moment we arrived. The house is clean, beautiful and completely appointed. The location is ideal and the views are sublime. We walked across to their adjoining oceanfront property (28 acres, I believe), drove the Slea Head Drive or skipped in to Dingle and Ballyferriter minutes away. So many wonderful sights nearby, and the house itself offered plenty to do--fitness room, reading and movies about Ireland, Kerry and Dingle readily available. The hosts were readily available with suggestions and answers to minor questions. A complimentary tour of the region at the start of the week was a great bonus. We look forward to returning here--for longer the next time!"Guest: Bryan & Patricia Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 10, 2014View listing
"The listing description hit it right on the head....panoramic ocean view! The home looks exactly as it does in the photos & is meticulously maintained. The owner, Dan, was extremely helpful from start to finish. I would NOT hesitate to rent again if I'm lucky enough to return some day. The Dingle area is rich in history, food, music & the people are so welcoming and comfortable!! There isn't a bad restaurant/bar in Dingle. Slainte!"Guest: Carole C.
