"Four of us stayed at the Priory for a week. It is beautifully decorated with new decor embedded in the charm of this old charming building. The full size kitchen was perfect. The two bedrooms en suite, were both spacious and well appointed. Out hosts were very helpful with information and getting us on at tour at the last minute. We loved the wood and peat burning stove, making things nice and cozy. We enjoyed the homemade scones as well. The location is excellent allowing us to easily walk into town, and drive to nearby tourist sights. I highly recommend the priory and wouldn't hesitate to stay here during our next visit to Killarney."

"My wife and I fled snowy New England for a February stay at The Aunt’s House, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat. The house itself was clean, warm, and comfortable, and it’s nice that the owners preserved many of the home’s original features like distinctive doors and locks when they performed their recent renovation. And we really appreciated the stash of maps and walk descriptions -- we lit a peat fire every night and planned the next day’s walks and drives over a dram or two of Irish whiskey.
Caherdaniel and the Ring of Kerry in general are a bit more quiet in the offseason, and that suited us fine. Fewer tourists meant more room for us at the bar at the Blind Piper, where we had dinner most nights, and we never saw any campers or tour buses on our explorations. We’re also fairly avid runners, and a quick down to Derrynane House or past a ogham stone was a great way to start each day.
We had a blast on our visit, and we’re already planning a return trip."
