  • Wonderful week

"We are a group of 10 Canadians who spent an marvelous week at Coolclogher House. We were greeted with a warm Irish welcome from the owner, Mary, who had great suggestions for what to see and do. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable with the result that we all thought are own room was the 'best.' The views from the house are spectacular. We travelled out each day to sightsee and golf, and it was always a delight to return home to Coolclogher, to sit outside and gaze at the view, or to sit inside in one of the comfortable sitting rooms. The house and its amenities definitely exceeded our expectations and we hope to return some day. All of us would highly recommend it."

  • Wonderful Familiy Vacation!!

"Stayed at Teach Mor for 2 weeks with 5 for a family vacation. We had different ages and physical abilities and the cottage was set up well for all. The walk in shower is fabulous! The cottage is close to the Town Center but you would never know it. It was a good location for day trips in SW Ireland and Killarney National Park offered lots to do on the days you don't want to be driving. Walked every morning to town or in the Park. Tim and Bernadette were great hosts offering lots of information. Tim told us about Irish music right across the street, great night out and no driving. Some of the many highlights were, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Muckross House and Abbey, Gap Of Dunloe (hike or jaunty ride), hike up Old Kenmare Rd., Kinsale, Kenmare. In town had great meals at the Sportsman, Robertinos and a fun night at Murphy's Pub. My daughter did 2 Mini-Marathons and I did one, great way to meet local people! Bernadette....thank you for the Scones delivered warm and delicious. I can't forget to mention Oscar and Massie your dogs. We all loved them, Oscar visited us daily and we had to bring him home from the pub one night! We are already talking about our next trip to Ireland. Thanks again. Shannon"

  • Delightful homebase to see County Kerry

"Tim and Bernadette were most gracious hosts. They checked in several times throughout our week long stay to see how things were going. One of the days I was trying to make some kindling out of larger logs and Tim showed me where there was an available supply. When we initially arrived they also made sure we knew where everything was and suggested how we could spend our time. What I wish I had known before booking - Town is too far away to walk. What delightfully surprised me - The easy access to amazing places in Killarney, you don't even need to go far to enjoy everything."

  • The Priory is perfection!!!

"We could not have asked for a better place to make our home base for our vacation to Ireland! We are family of 16 (ranging in age from 6 months to 73 years and everything in between) and The Priory and Killarney provided us with the vacation of a lifetime! The home is spectacular and fit all of us comfortably (we also rented the Loft for overflow sleeping), Killarney is a wonderful, family friendly town and the Priory owners and their children (and dog) could not have been nicer! Almost immediately we felt right at home! The house was immaculate and provided all of the comforts of home and then some! We enjoyed strolls into town, hikes and bike rides through Muckross House and the national park, and day tours to Dingle and the Ring of Kerry (organized by the owner of the Priory and led by his friend and his 18 passenger bus!). The breakfast that the owners made for us the first day started our vacation off on a high note, and the multi-generational soccer games on the front lawn left us with great stories to tell our friends and family back home! Thank you for sharing your amazing home and equally wonderful family with us! We will never forget our time at the Priory!"
