  • Delightful homebase to see County Kerry

"Tim and Bernadette were most gracious hosts. They checked in several times throughout our week long stay to see how things were going. One of the days I was trying to make some kindling out of larger logs and Tim showed me where there was an available supply. When we initially arrived they also made sure we knew where everything was and suggested how we could spend our time. What I wish I had known before booking - Town is too far away to walk. What delightfully surprised me - The easy access to amazing places in Killarney, you don't even need to go far to enjoy everything."

  • The Priory is perfection!!!

"We could not have asked for a better place to make our home base for our vacation to Ireland! We are family of 16 (ranging in age from 6 months to 73 years and everything in between) and The Priory and Killarney provided us with the vacation of a lifetime! The home is spectacular and fit all of us comfortably (we also rented the Loft for overflow sleeping), Killarney is a wonderful, family friendly town and the Priory owners and their children (and dog) could not have been nicer! Almost immediately we felt right at home! The house was immaculate and provided all of the comforts of home and then some! We enjoyed strolls into town, hikes and bike rides through Muckross House and the national park, and day tours to Dingle and the Ring of Kerry (organized by the owner of the Priory and led by his friend and his 18 passenger bus!). The breakfast that the owners made for us the first day started our vacation off on a high note, and the multi-generational soccer games on the front lawn left us with great stories to tell our friends and family back home! Thank you for sharing your amazing home and equally wonderful family with us! We will never forget our time at the Priory!"

  • Great location for a trip to Killarney

"Very comfortable house in a really good location if you are wanting easy access to Killarney town and the National Park look no further. House is very well equipped and the welcome from John and the groceries and wine were a really nice touch. Point to note is that the pictures show what is actually 2 semi detached houses...the garden is however not separated so for families with young children, as we were, this maybe a consideration. Perhaps for privacy and security (specifically young children) the garden could be partitioned? Overall an excellent property in a great location. Mark, Marie, Evie and Loretta (Leeds, England)"

  • A perfect holiday

"We spent one week in the Garden Mews Apt. and 1 night in a familyroom of Ardree House. Both, apt. and familyroom were very clean with nice furniture. The kitchen of the Mews Apt. was good aquipt for people who don`t want to cook like us, because there were just 4 glases, 4 plates, etc. But we didn´t need more. The washingmachine was perfect. At our arrival there was a bottle of wine in the fridge, bread and fruits on the table, what we really enjoyed because we arrived late in the evening from Limerick, Burren, Cliffs of Moher. Breda and John were very friendly. John gave us tips where to go for dinner, etc. As the apartment is in the backyard it is not noisy from the street but close to the centre of the town. From there it was good to make our daytrips to Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Cork, etc. The surrounding with the lakes is also very beautiful. Our last night we spent in a family room of Ardree House. Also that was very good! And the breakfast was wonderful!!!!"
