"While on a combination business / leisure trip, we found the owners and the place amazing. Very clean and everything needed to make our stay in Adare all that we hoped it would be. If I get another chance I will try my best to arrange another stay. Thumbs up for sure."

"This was the perfect spot for our family trip. Tom was such a delightful host, and he went above and beyond when a member of our party suffered a back injury by helping sort out an appointment with the GP and a visit to the pharmacy. The kitchen is very well stocked, and there are markets in town and bigger supermarkets close by. This is a great location for day tripping--we visited Birr Castle, Bunratty Castle, The Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle and the Swiss Cottage, The Burren National Park, The Cliffs of Moher, and Killarney National Park. Tom had a high chair and small crib set up for us, and he's just down the road for any questions or help. There's a large yard and a friendly neighbor pony out back. Whelan's Pub in Doon was such a great local spot to visit with very friendly folk, and there's even Chinese take away in town. We loved staying away from the tourist areas, and we got exactly what we were looking for in a small country cottage. There's a great little wooded walk just across the street to bird watch or just enjoy a stroll. The washer and dryer were very handy, and the heating kept us toasty when we needed it."

"Sadly we were only able to stay one night in this gorgeous character cottage but we will definitely be back. The house is clean, cosy and well equipped and the hosts were friendly and helpful recommending places to eat locally and even preparing food for us on our arrival. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into ensuring that guests feel very welcome while staying at the cottage and have everything that they could need to enjoy their stay. We stayed with our toddler and the additional living room was great for us to be able to pop him into bed and sit and relax without having to worry about waking him. The upstairs living room would also be great if staying with another couple or teenage children where everyone might appreciate having their own area to relax on an evening."
