  • A Spectacular Week

"We had a spectacular week with two other couples at the Hilltown. This was our second trip to Ireland and we fell in love with the Donegal region. This Hilltown is located a few miles from the beautiful village of Donegal, which was hosting a food festival the weekend we arrived. There are numerous day trip opportunities to include trips into Northern Ireland. The house has lots of room, and was recently updated which makes it a very comfortable home with lots of gorgeous views of the countryside. We took daily walks through the country and over to the beach and played the Donegal Country Club one day, which is the second longest links course in Europe. We would highly recommend this part of Ireland and the Hilltown to anyone looking for a special time in Ireland."

  • Great location for a visit to Dublin

"We stayed in the Molly Malone apartment for a week in October and we really enjoyed it! The place is small but comfortable- one word of advice though: the shower is really small, so if you are a larger person you might want to choose one of the larger apartments. The location is excellent- easy access to grocery store and local buses. There is a great pub with wonderful live Irish music within 20 min. walking distance- "The Cobblestone". Liam was very kind, giving us a welcome snack of Irish Soda bread, milk and butter- a life saver after the flight to Dublin. The area around the apartment building felt totally safe, and we highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Dublin. Heike and Jene, Hailey, Idaho, USA"

  • Historic Aghaboe House

"My first memory of my first trip to Ireland will always be that of Aghaboe. My partner and I arrived at Dublin airport, exhausted and harried, and drove straightaway to this manor house in the country. It's a good thing we did: The caretaker cheerfully made us tea and showed us through this welcoming old stone house. The pleasures were many: luxuriating in a deep soaking tub, sipping lovely Spanish wines from their wine cellar, meandering through the nooks and crannies of the house, and exploring the impressive library. At night Orion shone brilliantly in the velvet sky and in the mornings a step outside revealed a forgotten era. Here you can still breathe sweet soft air and gaze across the ridiculously green grass with cattle grazing to an ancient crumbling abbey. From here we visited the surrounding countryside and nearby Kilkenny, but returning to the huge old house and its lovely grounds was most restorative. Though we went on to find my own ancestral land and many more touristed sites, this place remains special--authentic and unforgettable."

  • Great Place

"Can't beat the location. Apartment is roomy, cozy and delightful. Landlady is an enormous help. Dublin is a great place to visit. Would recommend without reservation."
