  • Remarkable and memorable experience

"We took my 82 year old mother on her second trip to Ireland (her first was 40 years ago) and the highlight of our trip was our week long stay in this wonderful house where we enjoyed quiet and gorgeous views the whole day long. There is lots of room and lots of comfort, and a kitchen that was fully appointed and a pleasure to use. We are both architects and my brother is a graphic designer and we all appreciated the intelligent use of Irish Arts and Crafts, both new and old, for the interiors. The owners were extremely helpful, not only with their instructions and advice, but also for arranging to have the house open and ready for us when we arrived. In less than a day we felt at home and well cared for. This house is an ideal choice. Thank you so much."

  • What a find!

"For the past 15 years we (a group of 4 couples) rent a home to spend a week together. We have not before experienced somewhere like this place. To look at the photos it seems good, but in real life it is much better. The living space is large and open, and more a hotel than house! The hosts are helpful but not intrusive. The maintenance of the place is spotless, and it's very functional. The location was great. We got to play golf at Adare, made a trip Galway and to the Cliffs of Moher, to Killarney, and explored local walks too. We bought fresh food at the Saturday morning market in the village, and ate super pizza nearby too. There is a beautiful park in the village, with adult gym equipment that kept some of us feeling fit! We ate out in some nice places- and too much Guinness, and a friendly bar owner in Mc Namara’s in Scarriff was memorable! We also cooked in using the well-equipped kitchen, herbs from the garden and the big wood stove was great for evening. Definitely we will be back!"
