  • Lovely, scenic, restful

"We had a wonderful week here! Well equipped, very congenial, helpful, gracious hosts & a view to die for! Can't say enough about it & really am mixed mind to do so as everyone will want it & it may become so desirable that it won't be available should we be able to go back! Seriously, it's the place to go for easy & quick access to major routes & major sites. It is also far from the madding crowd at the same time."

  • A Perfect Week!

"My husband and I spent almost a week in this lovely apartment and wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the window is breathtaking, the apartment warm and cozy, the bed comfortable, the bathroom large and roomy. We loved staying home in the evenings after a drive to some of the most spectacular mountains on earth! We cooked our own dinners in the perfect little kitchen and relaxed as we mapped out our adventures for the following day. The photos do not really do the apartment justice--it is much larger than it appears. It is also clean and very well maintained with a large and very comfortable sofa to curl up on and read a book on a rainy day (we had a day of rain--it was lovely to simply stay indoors and enjoy the apartment -- we caught up with our washing --always a chore when on the road for several weeks) and the next day there was snow on the high peaks and the scenery was even more spectacular. The owner is wonderful and so easy to work with. She welcomed us via Skype, and answered any and all questions we had. Carlo, who oversees the apartment for the owner is a delightful gentleman--his English is poor and our Italian is worse but we managed to get along just fine--he took us shopping for groceries and gave us the full tour of the apartment and all its amenities. There was even a bottle of wine, cheese and bread as a welcome gift upon our arrival. Molveno is a gorgeous little jewel of a town that is a short drive away. We spent a day at Riva Garda having lunch and strolling along the lake. Our favorite day was spent traveling north to the Dolomites----Kastelruth is a small town located near some of the most spectacular mountains we have ever seen--we want to return and spend more time exploring. We loved our week in Villa Banale...and hope to return in the summer for the hiking and simply being outdoors. Despite some rainy weather, the scenery was gorgeous, castles and small towns and fields of green. I can't recommend this area and apartment highly enough."

"Spent a week in this apartment and could not have enjoyed it more! Taxi driver dropped us a half block away (the nearest place possible) and were met by Iryna who kindly showed us how everything worked. Andrea's map was very helpful and informative. Bathrooms are small but functional, it was great to have one for each room. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the views. Location cannot be beat, in the heart of things but on a smaller street with less noise. Several fantastic and authentic restaurants mere steps away. All in all, a lovely place for a vacation with charming and attentive hosts. They were starting some upgrades the day we left, so it will be even better for future guests. Will be recommending this place to all of our friends and we hope to come back soon. Grazie mille!"

  • A Truly Wonderful Apartment and Hosts

"My wife and I along with our kids (20 & 16) started our 25th Anniversary trip thru Italy with several nights in Rome at this truly wonderful apartment with two fantastic hosts – Pietro and Marina. The apartment has an absolutely incredible view of the Coliseum with the Vatican in the background. The website pictures are true and actually seeing the sunset over the city of Rome is breathtaking. The apartment is in a great location, close enough to walk to all the attractions but out of the main tourist hubs. Everything you need is provided, is very clean, and has enough room for a lot more than 4 people. We especially enjoyed sitting on the penthouse floor with a glass of wine after a busy day. Our host Pietro (Marina was laid up with an ankle injury) made all the transportation arrangements from the airport, showed us around the neighborhood and gave us a fantastic tour of the Vatican. His knowledge of the city, the architecture, and the Vatican (he grew up blocks from there) was first class. We highly recommend you ask Pietro to make a reservation for you at the local seafood restaurant. It is a fantastic place, the food and service great and very reasonable in price. Finally to top it all off Pietro and Marina gave us a bottle of prosecco that we toasted to celebrate aa wonderful start to a very special trip. Thanks again. We will return!"
