  • Absolutely beautiful!

"Our family stayed four nights here and it was wonderful! Everything was as expected. Arrival was a little bit difficult, we took the Trenitalia train to Naples and then the Circumvesuviana to Sorrento, except we accidentally got on the train to Sarno and it took us about 8 or 10 stops to realize it... so we had to get off, get on another train, come back to Naples, and then get on the right train to Sorrento. We were supposed to arrive by 7pm but unfortunately we were late. We took a taxi with all our luggage (5 people with 2-3 bags each) from Sorrento to Massa Lubrense where we were met by Serena and her mom (they accommodated our late arrival). They were very friendly and welcoming and they drove us to the Villa which is just a few minutes from the Massa Lubrense town center. When we got to the Villa they showed us around, answered our questions, and shared some homemade Limoncello with us!! They helped us make arrangements to tour the Amalfi Coast with a driver, which was amazing. Like other reviewers, we were never really able to figure out how to take the bus from Sorrento to Massa Lubrense so we had to take a taxi every time (about 40 euros), even though my brother speaks fluent Italian. Everyone had a different answer on where the bus stop was and it seemed like the right bus never came. It wasn't a big deal, though. There is a walking path from the Villa to Massa Lubrense center which made things easy for us. There is a wonderful restaurant called Ristorante Il Cantuccio I think it was? The food was amazing and so were the views. We enjoyed eating there multiple times during our stay! Make sure to try the Focaccia and Citrus Risotto. I would definitely recommend this Villa for your vacation! Beautiful location, wonderful person to work with (the family lives downstairs), very safe neighborhood, good food! We loved our stay in Massa Lubrense!"

  • Truly Stunning

"I was fortunate enough to spend some time with my family here. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The apartment is not your typical "vacation rental"- it truly feels like "home" (super clean, roomy, and comfortable). The big glass doors in the living area open out to the most stunning views of the sea. The owner (Elena) is flexible, generous, and helpful which make the stay that much more pleasurable. She leaves nothing to chance or guesswork. She has suggestions and recommendations for every kind of traveler (restaurants, getting around, beaches, best gelaterias, etc.). We also stayed at her rental in Rome and could not be happier with our choice: super spacious (which is rare in Rome), super clean, and super convenient without being touristy. The same level of attentiveness to detail prevails in both locations."

Experience Ancient History From Amalfi Vacation Rentals

Experience ancient Italian history as you marvel at Pompeii ruins. Take a tour to wonderful places like Ravels, Sorrento, Napoleon, and Position. Be sure to visit the western stretch of the coast (between Amalfi and Positano). Beautiful natural inlets characterize this part of the coast, and it's a sight to behold! The Conca dei Marini's bay, and ancient fisherman village, is also nearby. The village is framed by rock and by houses suspended on the sea.

The Coast of Amalfi Offers Something for Everyone

Hold on tight while you wind through steep slopes and maneuver around Amalfi's famous hair-pin turns. Experience the thrills of steep rocky cliffs into the blue-green sea. The bus heads east from Sorrento, down the coast of Amalfi. Other Amalfi activities include scenic cruises, dolphin watching, and hiking. Like to cook? Take a cooking class from the famous Mamma Agata. Enjoy coffee and lemon cake on the family's terrace overlooking the ocean. Make your next vacation a memorable one in Amalfi, Italy.
